Let me start by saying this. When you want to support black business & they provide you with horrible service. You gladly would spend your dollars somewhere else. The host was walking around looking clueless as to what to do about the pack entry way. My friends & I have made reservation for 9:15. We waited & waited & waited etc etc etc I asked the hostess how long would it be for us to be seated. She said I am be honest Idk. I looked at her with confusion because we made our reservation on time. Waited another 30 mins not one time the hostess come over to see if we ok. Left and went to chocolat. At chcolat we were seated right away & their food was great. Thank you choclate for saving the night

We had a reservation for 9:15 PM and we were never seated. When we asked the hostess how long the wait would be?, she initially said “a few minutes.” Cool, no problem!. Some more time passed and we asked the hostess again she said “I don’t want to lie to you and said she would be back.” However, she never returned. After waiting a total of 30 mins, we left! We wanted to support a black business to spend our black dollars but they totally dropped the ball. Around 10 something I received a text stating our table was ready. That is a total of 45 mins + after our initial reservation. The restaurant needs to work on their overall seating system. So as to not have ppl waiting hours on end for a chance to have a meal. Smh… totally dissatisfied with the service and unfortunately I will not return.

I didn’t get to experience food or anything on a Saturday- I am totally disappointed with this location- would I go back - hell no!!! I made a reservation for 4:30 on Saturday for a party of 6- we ran late got rescheduled to 5:45. Cool we showed up at 5:10 and informed the hostess we arrived but needed to modify parties to only 2 which should have been better for them. No not really- hostess was not trying to accommodate us- and basically said yea we can push you back even further or cancel. So I cancelled and left- would I recommend this place - NOOOOOO

This place was amazing!!!! Food was a reminder of home and I’m from Louisiana so yeah they are official!!!! The Short Rib was super tender the greens were on point, the fried chicken was good to the bone!!! Don’t let me start on the cornbread I think the lord himself was in the kitchen because the fig preserve mixed with that crispy crunch top and super soft inside and then that butter!!! When you put it together Heavenly is all I can say. We had a great time and even met the owner and she’s been at it for a minute true entrepreneur!!! God bless this place and if you get the chance stop by if you’re in the area.
