Always a great experience. Gave us plenty of time to discuss business before ordering. Dan always goes out of his way to give great service. Same for all that work there. Thanks! Mike
Food was delicious and staff extremely easy to work with for group reservations. Dan, the manager was professional and helpful.
Great night, disappointed we had to endure ab hysterically crying baby for the duration of the dinner. Not the fault of the restaurant and staff, just selfish on the part of the parents.
The staff was very courteous. Food was delicious as expected. The steak in my steak salad it was cooked perfectly.
Nice cozy atmosphere - service/servers very nice-attentive- ordered special fish dish -was ok -not great-almost $60 for the fish very nice wine selections available prices very NYC so many really great places to dine in NYC Peter Lugers for steak or Carnegie Deli for breafast or lunch ...................Very difficult to recommendd this restaurant as an option Great place for a drink-at the bar
Horrible service. Resentful attitude. Didn't know the menu. The filet was good, but the rest of the food was sub-par to not good. Even the bread seemed stale. The place has fallen drastically, which is a shame. No longer a high-end place at this location.
MEH! The food was "okay/what you might expect" from an old school steakhouse, but nothing spectacular. The menus are dirty and sticky and while the service fairly was attentive, the dining room was pretty empty and the waiter was kind of rude... Especially when my girl asked for a doggie bag. The waiter actually said out loud, "Seriously?" I used to go to this place often 20 years ago, I won't be going back!
The dry-aged steak was delicious. I also got the Cesar salad and the dressing is fresh and they serve it with anchovies if you wish. Last time I was here was before the pandemic and they have not missed a beat in terms of quality.
This is by far the best restaurant in the city. Celebrated my birthdays at the restaurant the past 3 years. Amazing service and food. Workers and manager are very accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Old school steakhouse. Great service great food - restaurant could use some updating (doesn't stop us from going!)

Always Always a great experience! The hosts are always courteous and accommodating. The service is excellent and the steaks and sushi are always on point. Shaber is the best .Attentive but gives enough space. Super friendly and space the course perfectly. Best in class.
Aceptaron reservación a última hora pero realmente el restaurante estaba solo, la mesera súper linda siempre y atenta nos hacía recomendaciones del menú, creo que es precio alto y realmente la comida no es tan buena
Had a wonderdul dinner with shabir .He was super knowledgeable and kind. The food was amazing but shabir made the experience a million times more enjoyable.we will most definitely be back when we we're in town.!!
Service was fantastic! Food was a little lackluster. Sweet chili calamari was excellent. Dry age ribeye was just okay. Not in the category of better ones I've had. Petite filet similarly bland. Sides were very good
