Dined there before theater and the pre fixe meal options were many and the short rib I chose was delicious. Service was friendly and the setting is pretty. Parking garage right next door and theatres in the area!
Excellent service, steak and sides! We enjoyed the melt in your mouth filet mignon & Argentinian steak with garlic mashed potatoes. The seating comfortable with a view of the city streets while you enjoyed your meal. Great choice before or after a Broadway show!
The bar area was a little loud, but nice place to have family dinner before seeing Hamilton.
We ate at Bobby Van's Grill last night with our family and for a special night it was far from it. Our daughter ordered the $55 scallops dinner, the scallops were burned to a crisp, our Granddaughter's gnocchi was tasteless, and the loaded baked potatoes was not fresh whatsoever, at least baked the day before. For a $350++ dinner it was so disappointing.
Was very happy with the service and accommodations. Food was very good and will definitely go back again to this establishment.
Our first at Bobby Van's and we'll go back. Service was great, food very good. Prices on the high side but worth it.
Easy day of reservation and service and food was great! $55 three course menu had ample options for everyone and portions were hearty! A great dinner spot generally or for pre- or post-theater
Olivia the host is the best and most accommodating. She provides great communication and front of house awareness.
Tonight we were very disappointed. This is one of our go to pre-theatre places. However, our waiter ignored us. The food was late getting to us. The request for no garlic was ignored. The flat bread was stale. All in all it was a bummer. I think that we won't be back.
Our waiter Jose was amazing and the food was even better. They happily seated a table of 7 and each person enjoyed their meal. They also brought out a complimentary birthday brownie and sang happy birthday to a member of our table.

Drinks (soda and tea) were overpriced and $5.00 per refill without telling us when we ordered refills. Server was gruff and never once checked on our table after dinner was served. Most likely won't be back.
Very good lobster roll with fries at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the outdoor seating on a beautiful day.
Our waiter was very friendly and answered our questions. The location is a little bit crammed inside but doable.
Went for a pre-theater snack. Had an espresso martini and some apps. Tuna tartare & fried calamari. Both good. Martini was great & our server was outstanding. Terrific service, really nice, didn't hover. Many props to him. Prices about average for Times Square, plus, it's Bobby Vans, a NYC staple.
Food was just OK. My daughters was not good at all. It seemed that the food was more inferior because we ordered off the prefix menu.
