Outstanding! Accommodating! Fun!
We traveled to attend an engagement after-party that was held in the greenhouse space at BOBO. The moment we arrived we were greeted by a kind hostess. We were early, so we stayed downstairs at the bar for 30-40 minutes. While at the bar, the bartender, a manager, and a server asked if we needed anything, promptly served us our drinks, and offered us service.
Once at the after-party, the servers were attentive and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The person coordinating the event was conscientious and accommodating. All of the employees were so friendly, humorous, and helpful. The food that was served was outstanding and plentiful. Even after some people in the group had had a few too many celebratory beverages, the staff was patient and polite—huge kudos for this!!
No doubt that we will return to BOBO for a meal with friends! I’m looking forward to it!

We had dinner for 6 last night. Bobo is a cool little tucked away underground spot. We sat inside by the bar area, so did not experience the other parts of the restaurant, but it was so so loud blasting 2015 Kygo music, we had to yell at each other throughout our meal. So I may caution anyone who has more than one guest where you can canoodle and talk closely next to one another. The service was nice and we never felt rushed. I felt our particular food items lacked seasoning. The mashed potatoes served with the Toulouse saucisson were perfectly whipped yet completely bland. The gravy itself not making up for diverging the lack of flavor. The saucisson was wonderfully done. Deep flavor and a great snap quality. The bolognese was cold and more a big pile of mushy thin noodles that could have been better served by a heartier noodle shape to hold up to the meaty sauce. The Beurre of the Beurre radish with baguette, again not sure of the source of their ingredients but these were just bland. It’s the simplest thing to make because in essence you aren’t making anything and letting great quality simple things shine on their own. The croquettes were a nice little crispy truffle mozzarella stick. Always fun. The roasted chicken and the fish are classics and were well-cooked and enjoyable, and the stars of the dish, yet the vegetables served alongside were also undercooked and under seasoned. I really wanted to enjoy this place and I do look forward to giving it another try, perhaps on the much earlier side in hope there are some more standout items.

My don’t-leave-without-it pick? The epice margarita.

As a French person I can recommend this place with my eyes closed - the food was incredible and really tasted like home. You can find classic dishes with a more modern twist and the wine list was incredible!

A huge thanks to Caleb and Josh for an amazing experience. I will come again merci

Great dinner tonight ! Very cute place and the waitress was very sweet and efficient. Food was fabulous. Had a nice chablis by the glass. The Vacqueyras by the glass was the only disappointment of the night. It was VERY raisiny. Maybe a cooked bottle ? Luckily, the Saucisson du Toulouse was so fantastic it didn't matter.

Fun neighborhood restaurant. Happy hour with oysters on the half shell and French wine by the glass very good. Endive salad shared by 3 of us. Really tasty and fresh. Entrees of bolognese, scallops, and the Bobo burger came out hot and were delicious.

I had my wedding reception at Bobo and it was a dream come true! Rosanna & team were incredible. We’ve been several times for dinner and now our wedding and the service and ambiance are also incredible. We’ve had Yaro seat us several times and will be back to see him alone! He is incredible at what he does and made us feel so comfortable. Rosanna was my rock throughout the process and was so professional. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS AMAZING!!! Everyone kept coming up to me saying how delicious it was. Bobo feels like a quintessential nyc dining experience - it’s cozy, scenic, and beautifully decorated. This is one of my favorite spots in the city and I’m glad it’s also such a special place in my heart since we could have our wedding there. Thanks Bobo!
