The restaurant has a great vibe - super french, from the building itself to the menu design. I’m not a big fan of French food but i can imagine people would like this place. Happy Hour 5pm-7pm, good deal with drinks and oysters.

My only suggestion is checking the menu before you book the place, just to make sure that you can get what you want.

We chose this restaurant for Valentine’s Day expecting a romantic, intimate atmosphere, especially given the reputation and quality of the food - which, to be fair, was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the ambiance completely missed the mark.

About 10 minutes into our dinner, a group of five girls was seated next to us and proceeded to scream at full volume for the rest of the evening, as if they were at a bottomless brunch rather than a nice dinner service. They were so loud that we could barely hear each other speak, and it completely took away from what was supposed to be a special night.

I understand that guests’ behavior isn’t entirely within the restaurant’s control, but what was disappointing was the complete lack of intervention from management. It was obvious this was disruptive - every table around us was staring, clearly uncomfortable. On a night like Valentine’s Day, when so many couples are there specifically for a romantic experience, I would have expected staff to step in and politely address the situation.

We recently got engaged and chose this restaurant to celebrate what should have been a memorable evening. While the food delivered, the atmosphere did not. Because of that, I would not recommend this spot if you’re looking for an intimate or special date night experience.

Enjoyed their $45 Restaurant Week menu—an incredible value at a truly lovely spot. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or special occasion, our waiter was warm and attentive, and the portions were generously sized. The kale salad was delicious, with pumpkin seeds adding a great touch of texture and flavor. I then had the branzino, which was excellent—the sauce it was paired with was fantastic, and the charred fennel was especially refreshing. The only small downside was that the host wasn’t the warmest face at the door, which coincidentally all members of our party noticed when we met up. Still, would absolutely come back.

Caleb was amazing! Me and my wife felt amazing. He recommended a good wine and he was so friendly from start to end. We are definitely coming back.

Cozy & cute - not too formal but not too casual either with pretty candle-lit interiors. Food was delicious - restaurant week offers a great value with a three-course meal for a fixed price of $45.

Food was delicious. We had the restaurant week menu, and each course was special. My husband ordered the white coq au vin, which he never had before and loved. The branzino was another highlight. Warm, friendly service from our waiter. If you're looking for a great restaurant after Smalls, and don't want to walk far, dine at BoBo!

Overall service was very slow. We waited about two hours to get our food. The server comped a round of drinks but after we asked.

The food was very good and the wait staff was excellent. Space is limited but typical for New York City.

It started off perfectly. The fabulous host and hostess duet, the waitress and prompt service. And then it went Arctic the food took 45 minutes and arrived cold the hostess never returned to the table to refill nor replace empty wine glasses. No one appeared for the entire meal

Beautiful village energy townhouse ! I've been many times because I'm a neighbor. The branzino was excellent. The staff was great ! Fun night. French or more interesting music would have been nice. The music didn't go with the restaurant!!

Sometimes when you walk into a restaurant and get your first look you just know it's going to be incredible. That's what happens when you walk in Bobo.

Came here late after a jazz show, around 10pm - lively, intimate place with great food and drinks. Service was great, friendly and fast. The mushrooms dish was great, also Brussels sprout dish, made a perfect late night meal with wine.
