The side of baked mac & cheese was excellent—creamy, rich, and with some bits of the layer of gratinated cheese. Chocolate chip cookies where decent with a rich, buttery flavor.

This was a favorite for my husband and I before we moved! The fried chicken sandwiches were so good! However, after returning in December 2024 we were so disappointed! The sandwiches shrunk in size with the same prices, the seating was reduced by cutting out the bar seating and leaving a few small tables and uncomfortable chairs. The food was not as good and the vibe was get in and get out. This used to be a place to stop and sit and enjoy a meal. Maybe the economy or new management informed these changes, but I will forever miss the old Bobwhite Counter. 💔

I've been coming for years and yes the quality has dropped over time but it's still a solid choice to get good fried chicken. Probably my big complaint is the breading has become less crunchy over time. Its still delicious but I miss the old breading.

The front of the house staff was nice and welcoming. I told them I came across the place on Instagram and just had to try it so I got the infamous chicken Caesar wrap, which was so good and I was given free chocolate chip cookies which was so nice of them. I appreciate the service and would definitely be coming back to try out more of their popular dishes. Definitely a recommended spot if you’re up for a quick bite. Thank you!
