Nothing really exceptional about this place……. Food was very average, ordered a Angus burger (medium), it was kinda burnt (unless that’s their style of medium, the fries were so so cold, the service can’t say much, our food took really long to come on the table.

I’ve been to Bocado before and had a decent experience—the food was mediocre, but the ambiance and setup are cozy and inviting. This visit, however, was disappointing. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant, and when we politely asked to move, the host was not accommodating. Instead of addressing it personally, she sent the server to say all the tables were booked, even though there were clearly plenty of empty tables. Frustrated, we decided to leave. Later, while passing by another spot, we noticed that Bocado still had open tables—very disappointing. Hopefully, they can improve their seating and customer service.

went here during the holiday season it looks unassuming from the outside once we got inside it was very festive. You were seated rather quickly. There’s lots of seating and even a bar area. We went on the weekend so there was a brunch special.
Our server was amazing attentive without being annoying. The burger was great, and the wine was good. Also, lots of good dishes to choose from. Definitely want to go back. I feel like it’s a hidden gem. More people should come here.

Solid brunch spot with some international flair like halloumi and croque madame sandwiches. Great staff, and cozy interior. Affordable for NY

I was looking for a neighborhood restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find Bocado Cafe. The service was excellent and the food was great!
My late great African Art Dealer friend , Lawrence Ramsey said “I don’t eat burger that often, but, when I eat, it has to be the best”.For all burger lovers , Bocado burger is it, the perfect burger.
Amazing food! The gnocchi was the best I had in years and the veggie burger was so good too. They give complementary juice, mimosa, Bellini or coffee during brunch hours. They gave us the food very fast and although it’s not the cheapest place it’s worth every dollar

Bocado Cafe is a cozy local place that's also convenient to 5ave Museums. Everyone & everything is inviting, service is attentive, food is good. The Bocado burger is delicious & definitely one of the best in NYC. I will continue to recommend & return to this place.
Beautiful bistro type establishment on the upper east side. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The brunch does come with a complimentary drink (coffee, juice, mimosa, Bellini, or Rossini), but when I ordered the coffee iced, it tasted more like cold brew than iced coffee. The pancakes are very filling!!

Fantastic restaurant on the upper east side. Great ambience. Food was excellent and perfectly cooked. Wine and alcohol selection was very good. Pricing was good particularly for a Manhattan restaurant.
