There’s a reason why this place doesn’t have a line. It’s overpriced and some of the food is just reheated. We ordered three meatballs (for $20) and they came out still frozen in the middle. We sent it back and they sent us a new dish where they were slightly MORE frozen in the middle. They needed more time in the microwave I guess. Then they brought us a beer that was well under full. Just weird random stuff like that.More than half of us had upset stomachs that evening. Go elsewhere

I have been to Bocca a number of times and it’s a consistently great experience. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and the service is super friendly. The bar can whip up great cocktails and the wine list is varied and reasonably priced. The menu is a nice mix of old favorites as well as some off more offbeat things. I highly recommend!

All the food was very well prepared. Delicious pasta dishes, both the Spaghetti carbonara and the Fussili a la Normina. Very good Tiramisu as well. Staff was professional and the service was very good. The main reason not to put the five star is because of the 'Non-cash additional charge of $5,19' which I find very annoying. I get that banks charge businesses for credit card transactions, and that should be part of the restaurant's operating costs and reflected in the dish prices. But I don't see why as a customer I have to be the one paying for that extra fee, or be pushed to pay in cash. I've got news, we are heading towards a cash-less society, with every payment being electronic, so come into the 21st century please.

Great food with the other houses in the group. Good service, opening day 2/3/24 still orders but I'm sure it will be excellent as always. It's really worth

Classy, small neighborhood place with high standards. Ordered during restaurant week--may have been a mistake. The pasta was overcooked and mushy BUT everything else was lovely for the price point. Go but order off the REAL menu. Tiramisu kills.

My family and I were thrilled to find Bocca among the many options in the Union Square area on a Saturday night in December. When we arrived at the restaurant, we recognized the restaurant owner from Bocca's Instagram page and were delighted to meet him. He, along with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, took great care of us all night and provided great recommendations. We ordered a few appetizers and a salad to share in addition to our entrees, and every single thing we had was delicious. Fine dining flavors with a homey feel and perfect portions. The atmosphere felt modern yet cozy, and we all had a really enjoyable time!

As someone who grew up in Italy this place is the real deal and the food is excellent. Everything was delicious and very authentic. Gnocchi were pillowy soft and not doughy at all and Cacio e Pepe was smooth and creamy as it should be.

Good was great and well prepared. From giving the orders to the waiter to food hitting the table did not take long. I had the Caccio de pepe and my cousin had the lamb shank pasta. Both dishes were amazing along with the desserts which was a tiramisu and a creme brulee. Would 100 percent go back. Pasta prices were in the upper 20's but that's the be expected for fresh and flavorful pasta.
