I had dinner at Bocca Di Bacco in Chelsea this evening. The service and food were absolutely fantastic. This is easily my favorite restaurant in the area because of the great menu and great people. Thanks for a great experience.

Superb restaurant, incredible pastas, delicious Fritto mixto, wonderful deserts. First class service, I can not recommend it highly enough. A well known Italian chef creates delicious dishes, each one terrific. Worth the trip.

Good food but the service was pretty poor. Drinks took forever, the food took forever and they seated us in a cramped space (next to an internal column, in fact) to begin with. The request to move tables was met with disdain. I won't be going back.

We were visiting NYC for a quick weekend and I try to find cool little places to eat. I came across this place and reviews were good so we gave it a try. It was a Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. It's not a big restaurant, which is what I prefer. It was nice, but still casual. There is outdoor seating which would have been great, but it was cool, windy and a little rainy. The service was awesome with the staff constantly refilling drinks and making sure everyone had what they needed. The food was very good. My wife and I both had the linguine bolognese(we should have discussed before ordering because we never get the same meal so we can try each others) and my son got the rigatoni vodka. We also had meatballs for an appetizer. All of the food was good, but I would say my favorite was the rigatoni vodka. Overall, an excellent experience and we would definitely go back. Afterwards, we walked a few blocks to Chelsea Market which was an easy walk and cool place to kill some time.

As always Bocca di Baco does not disappoint. We shared calamari, rice balls and caesar salad, (5 of us) just delicious . Everyone had a different main course and all were gobbled down to clean plate, gnocchi, spaghetti carbonara, veal piccata and special fish of the day (Brazino). Some of us took home leftovers. Desserts too were shared and yummy (all chocolate). Service was smooth and pleasant. Water glasses were filled as needed. We did not feel rushed and we enjoyed our time there. The tip (20%) was included in the bill, perhaps because we were a party of 5. That was unnecessary as we would have given more. Highly recommended.

I've never left a review but I got sick from the food here so I feel like I have to mention in. I had the chicken caesar salad and ended up being violently ill all night. Really unfortunate because the other food looked good and the vibe was nice. Drinks were good.

Came here for brunch with a large party and had low expectations for the food. I opted out of bottomless brunch due to the use of cheap liquor.I ordered the burger and my disappointment was confirmed. It was tasteless with not a speck of seasoning added. The frozen fries were pretty good but that’s it.Nice spot and location for brunch but the food is BLAND. The service was fine but there was 20% gratuity added plus a 5% service charge.

Quiet spot with good food. Went on a Monday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. Rigatoni alla vodka, meatballs, and arancini were all 4/5 stars. Atmosphere could use some help. Drinks were great!

Went for the HH and they didn’t inform us which drinks were actually included so we ended up having to pay $16 for drinks we thought were happy hour drinks. They should be clear about what is included and what is not.The rigatoni vodka was delicious and the staff is super super nice!

Came here for brunch on a Sunday around 12:30pm and there were plenty of open tables. By 2pm the place was at about 80% capacity. They have a brunch menu but also serve their regular menu as well. I tried the crab Benedict and liked it a lot! The vibe of the spot was classy and fun and they also have a $26 boozy brunch deal!

This place was kind of a mixed bag for me. Starts off great, we got sat right away and the place is very charming. Menu looked good and my group was looking forward to eating. Our server was nice, he gretted us and took our order. Bread came out and it was good, but then half way through eating the bread they took the oil and vinegar to give to someone else without asking if we were through. We didn't really care, but it was a little strange. Food and out and it was a mixed bag. The special was good, but my food was really lacking. The cacio e pepe I had was just a bland cream sauce with some preground pepper tossed on top. It just felt as if they didn't care. My wife gnocchi was good though. This is the kind of place that I wouldn't mind if we were invited too, but I wouldn't go back on my own.

I wanted to give this place a 5 star rating because I’ve seen their reviews online and on social media it seemed great. I came here with my friends and sat at the bar and my bartender was Batu he was really nice and attentive and made really good drinks !! so I’d say the service was good as for food I ordered the spaghetti cacio and Pepe, the calamari, and the lasagna bolognese and they just seemed to lack flavor. Pretty disappointed as I’ve seen good reviews for the food. Not only that but the manager named neftalo that was there I got his name from the hostess who also didn’t seem nice when we greeted her , he seemed to be pretty rude especially to the Bartender. I also work in hospitality and I noticed that and he should be more aware that customers can notice to , it’s especially disrespectful to confront your employees in front of customers it just doesn’t make the restaurant look good. He then goes around the bar to chat with the customers including me and my friend I’m assuming to make himself look good after yelling at the bartender but I know managers like that and it’s all fake and honestly just made us uncomfortable. Personally not sure if I’d come again maybe just for drinks and to sit at the bar.

The restaurant exudes charm, creating a delightful atmosphere perfect for a date night or even a group gathering. The delicious food and delightful desserts left my taste buds satisfied, though I wished the meat wasn't cut that way. The mocktail was a definite highlight, earning a solid 5/5. In summary, my overall experience was exceptional, earning the place a well-deserved 4.8/5.

Enjoyed our night at Bocca Di Bacco. Everything was fine. Not enormously memorable but absolutely a-ok. We were there on a Thursday. Several families with younger kids which was a surprise in the neighborhood. In general it was a little too quiet for us. Again, nothing wrong, just not a fun, hoppin' festive crowd and atmosphere we were looking for.
