The banh mi I've had previous was very good. Today I opted for the special bun thit nuong cha gio. Very disappointing. First, the noodles were hot (temperature). I have never had a hot bun dish. Second, there was no nuoc cham to pour over the noodle salad, only some chili oil. Really disappointing for a bun dish. I did have the tapioca with coconut milk and mango. That was actually tasty although the serving size was a bit skimpy. I'd go there again but will NOT get the bun!

It's okay. Not the most flavorful sandwich and a bit on the fattier / heavy end. Bread was nice and portions are good. Service was super quick and price was reasonable.

Very delicious. Made to order. Duck sandwich!!! Pork bbq good too. Courteous fast service. no where to sit. Nice public plazas nearby. You can eat in Grand Central if it's too cold.

You can name all the viet food places in Midtown East, meaning there aren't that many. This is an in and out spot, that gets a good chunk of business during lunch hours, and a small dinner rush (by personal experience). The menu is rather extensive for a small establishment. They serve a solid banh mih, and an awesome pork dumpling soup! Plays the best country music, as well!

Very good tiny Vietnamese takeout spot by Grand Central. The bbq pork bahn mi and mixed dumplings were fresh and a great lunch. The staff working there were friendly, helpful, and worked quickly. Definitely going back to try more soon.

This is a great Vietnamese Banh Mi & pho spot in the area. I love all the food here & the prices are good too.

Miniature duck breast Banh Mi for $12. Guess I’ll have to go out again for lunch today.

This place is a great option for a work or train lunch, since it's so close to Grand Central. The banh mi bread is better than most I've had and the filling portion was really generous. Service was good and fast too, I'll definitely be

Great food but no seating! The roast pork banh mi was delicious. It was a bit sweet and medium spicey here means not spicy at all. The staff was nice but this place really is take out only. So unless you live in this neighborhood or work nearby, you are eating at the outdoor tables belonging to the pizza parlor next door.

Quite possibly one of the worst banh mi's I've ever had. I tried the curry chicken banh mi. It had ni taste. The chicken was dry and flavorless. There was no cilantro or pickled daikon i could taste. And no hoisin, despite being in the menu description. The main positive is that it was relatively inexpensive and filling.

When I'm suffering through a cold, a sore throat, and can't get the winter chill out of my bones, a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup is just the antidote I need. This nondescript Vietnamese restaurant in Midtown East is easy to miss and one I often forget about. The delivery apps featured it just when I needed a bowl of pho most, and the bowl of chicken pho delivered to me on a cold evening hit the spot. At just under $11, it's much cheaper than many of the alternatives across the city and hits all the right notes.

Walking by, this small to-go place had a line, so I was curious. Came back and got the summer roll and the Saigon pho. Took it home, and the broth was still hot. Overall, this was a standard pho, nothing super special, but things did feel fresh. The employees were friendly. The wait wasn't long at all, got my food about 5 minutes after ordering. The store is very small, but they have half the space organized for ordering, half to wait for the order.
