Went here for dinner after looking at such high reviews, and it was not that great. Food was OK but it was not worth of 4.7 stars. Some of the items like gobi pop were good. Few of the items we ordered : Dosa lacked salt and sambhar over spicy . Malai kofta was disappointing but Kadai paneer was good. ambience is different and nice. Overall its just another average Indian Restaurant .
May be i order the wrong food… so my comment might not be relevant, i ordered or chicken pista korma…
It was spicy, and i did not find the korma taste that i looove. So very disappointed.

While in NYC we had a craving for Indian food, and Bombay Chowk was a great choice.
The Indian restaurants we are used to have spiciness scales when ordering, but at Bombay Chowk the food is prepared at set levels of spice.
My wife had the chicken Tikka Masala and it was slightly sweet. Still flavorful and tasty.
I opted for chicken Vindaloo and the server warned me it would be spicy. Thankfully I’m used to spicy Vindaloo...
