Generic sushi average to poor quality

We had a wonderful experience trying this restaurant for the first time. The sushi was incredible, and everything we tasted was amazing! But the part of our experience was our server Scarlett. She was so kind and attentive, and truly she was what made the experience for us. 1000/10 would recommend!!! Scarlett thank you for making our night :)

I placed a large order for pickup today, arrived 5 minutes in advance, but it was not ready at the estimated time. I had a taxi waiting for me on the meter while I waited, and I explained that I needed to get going. No one seemed to be in a rush. Worse, a young lady involved in preparing the food in the takeout area was complaining loudly and rudely in Spanish about the situation and was very unpleasant. Not at all the experience I thought I'd be getting, especially at this price point. The food is excellent, but they need to work on their bedside manner in the delivery area. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I love this place! But I definitely prefer to eat in instead of ordering for delivery, for example, the crispy sushi in person you got six pieces as opposed to when you order out and only get four pieces.

I got severe food poisoning!!! On the 15th of April, my husband got me two rolls (spicy salmon and crab roll). Previously, ordering sushi from this location always had minor issues with my order.

Ordered a bondi set and two orders of crispy rice last night. The fish was not fresh and the rice was very stale. The crispy rice itself was fried for too long and it was hard to chew. The price does not equal quality. Would not return.

Sushi was good. Just ordered for the first time.
What's really annoying is the amount of packaging. For an order for 3 we ended up with more than 7 little cardbox boxes plus a plastic soy sauce container in every single box. By far the most wasteful order experience so far. Why not put everything in one or 2 containers and call it a day? We've seen it from other places. Also opted out of utensils but they still came with it. Also straight to trash. Sorry, not ordering again.

Had omakase for two with my boyfriend and the experience was incredible. The his was fresh and delicious, the service was excellent. It’s a little tight in terms of seating and you tend to bump knees with fellow diners, but worth it for $75 omakase in the upper west

I had an amazing experience ordering gluten free which never happens. Jayda was amazing and made my experience so easy and seamless. She knew exactly what options I had and took the time to explain them to me. She explained that they could remove some of the sauces to make them GF. This place has so many gluten free options! The rolls I got were delicious and affordable, I would highly recommend.
Thank you again so much Jayda!

Dropped in as a party of one during happy hour and had the following $5 hand rolls:
Crab, lobster, eggplant, and yellowtail
My favorite was the crab (warm, cooked) - just chock full of delicious crab meat. Not particularly spicy as described but very tasty.
Lobster (cold, cooked) was similar to a lobster roll filling but in a better format with less bread (rice) keeping you from the true lobster texture and taste.
Eggplant miso had sliced cucumber - great blend of crisp moist cucumber and the eggplant which they toast warm for you.
Yellowtail and scallion had juicy, good-sized morsels or yellowtail. Classic combination.
Solid and not a bad deal at all at happy hour.
Note this space is small and bar only as far as I can tell. May be difficult for large parties.

One of my favorite sushi places in Manhattan. It's a must stop for me every time I'm in the city, and I've never had a bad meal with them.
