This restaurant is too overpriced for what it offers. The food is okay, nothing outstanding. The seating is so cramped that my legs were hurting. The interior is overdue for renovation.

We just celebrated our wedding anniversary and picked this restaurant for its ambience and good food reviews. Overall, it was a great experience, great food but drinks are very small but I guess this is the norm nowadays ;/ Shrimp tempura was delicious but we did not even finish eating them and the ponzu sauce disappeared from our table, the experience felt a little bit rushed with the servers coming constantly and taking our dishes away the second we finish them. Maybe some would consider this as a good thing, but for us, we felt rushed. My tuna steak was delicious although the heavy sauce did overwhelmed the tuna taste in my opinion. My stomach hurt after eating so I am guessing this might be the sauce. Anyway, we had a great time although the prices are on a steep side but I am guessing the location is Hudson Yards, so that what expected.

Overall, good place. Food was good lots of choices and reasonable prices. Service slow but understandable it was busy got my drink wrong twice but it happens. The ambiance was great would go again on a night not as busy.

Such a nice and romantic date spot with a lot of items that you don’t see on the standard Japanese menu. Loved the wagyu nigiri @ grilled octopus but you can also just let the waiter list off recommendations that won’t miss

Food quality has dropped since our original visit but prices have gone up substantially. did not feel the food was worth the cost. service was good but there seemed to be always something going on. chairs being moved around, tables being cleaned, and servers rushing off somewhere usually in groups of 3. that seems to be excessive and disruptive for those of us dining
