Outstanding restaurant definitely better than the neighbors directly next to them and also a way better value. Service was fast and attentive to all request. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we had was five stars. Will be one of my must visit spots when visiting new york.

The food was incredible, and Grace was a wonderful server from start to finish! The delay at the beginning, with a reservation, put things off to a bit of a tough start, but her service and the speed from the kitchen made everything better. It's been weeks and we are still talking about the food! Every bite was incredible, especially the tuna tart.

I have never been treated so poorly by the host staff at a restaurant. My group had a reservation last Saturday for 9:30 and one member was running a little late but they needed the whole party to seat us. The last member came at 9:39 pm. They offered us a table right by the door opened and closing constantly letting cold air in or we could wait a few minutes as another table in the back was closing out. We opted to wait as it was a birthday dinner and it was 10 degrees outside. We had stood up from our seats at the bar and were standing in the middle of the small downstairs lounge with very little space to walk. We then stood there for 20 minutes with no update from the two hosts until we asked. They did not offer to take our coats like they did other parties, did not offer us menus or water. The two hosts were talking by the host stand. When we inquired about our table 30 minutes after our original reservations the host was rude and argued with us that we declined the first table. If we had known that was the only table we would have said yes but they offered us a choice. At this point we asked if there was any space in the upstairs restaurant because we had been standing for 30 minutes and only then did they check upstairs. They said there was but the party we were waiting for was finally closing out. When we did get to our table it was cramped stools and waiters were constantly walking by above our heads in a very small walkway with plates. One side of the table’s backs was to the bar with again a very small walkway so people walking by the bar were constantly bumping into us. It was not a pleasant environment to eat. The table was very small and could barely fit our entrees. Thankfully our server Ferrari was so kind and made up for the sour start. She was shocked to hear we hadn’t been given menus yet. She did offer us complimentary rose and brought over a birthday candle at the end of the dinner. The food was good but overpriced with small portions ($32 rolls for only 6 pieces). I would not return; the host staff argued and got snappy with us when we inquired about our reservation time and did not apologize or try to rectify the situation at all.

The type of bad service that ruins the entire experience. No one from my party will be going back.

Food was ok. Nothing to really be impressed about. Basic to mediocre food at very high prices.
I guess it is a place to be seen more than a place to go for great food.

The food is always exceptional and the server, Sierra, is the most welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable waitress I've ever had! The best!
The service was terrible. Our server was very sweet, but I could never find her. We were sitting for about 10-15 min before she came over to take our drink order. Then, our drinks took another 15 min to get. We ordered a second drink when our meal came and the drink did not come until we had finished our dinner. Also, we sat in the area to the left when you walk in towards the back. I don't know what is going on with the photo shoots out front, but it was so annoying to have flashes going off the entire dinner -through the partition from the restaurant to the entrance of the restaurant. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. But as a guest, to have flashing bulbs in your face for the entire meal is super annoying.

Last night we had dinner at Bondst, and after a rough service experience the night before elsewhere, we were really hoping for a reset. Craving good sushi and a calm, enjoyable evening, we decided to give Bondst a shot.
I will admit, the exterior had me slightly nervous. From the street, it looks pretty modest. But once we checked in and were taken up to the second floor, all concerns disappeared. The dining room is beautiful, warm, and intimate. We were seated at a small table toward the back, which was cozy and quiet and perfect for actually enjoying a conversation without yelling over the room.
Our server, Devin, was exceptional. Truly one of those servers who elevates the entire experience. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced the evening. He made great recommendations, never rushed us, and somehow made us feel like lingering for nearly two hours was no problem at all. His service never slipped once.
The food absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The tuna tarts were a standout and easily one of the best bites of the night. Credit to Devin for steering us in the right direction.
Between the outstanding service and excellent food, Bondst is a place I would happily recommend for a special night out. The only downside is the price. At around $500 for two people including tip, it is definitely a splurge. That said, if you are willing to spend for a high quality experience, Bondst delivers.

The tuna tarts were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. The food overall was incredible. The vibes are a little fancy and we know it, but the service was great!

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here and it was AMAZING. Staff is super kind, food is great and the view is perfect. They made it a really special one. Literally zero complaints and I never leave restaurant reviews. We already can't wait to go back!
Great food. Good ambiance. Excellent service at sushi bar. Waitress made good recommendations.
BondST at Hudson Yards is exactly the kind of place you go when you want dinner to feel like an occasion—sleek room, low lighting, and a lively NYC buzz without feeling chaotic. It's polished, stylish, and fits the neighborhood perfectly. We started with appetizers and honestly could've made a meal out of them. The sake-braised short ribs were the clear standout—fall-apart tender, deeply flavorful, and the kind of dish you keep talking about after the plate's gone. The lobster tempura was another win: crisp, light batter with sweet lobster that stayed delicate (not greasy), and it felt like a true “treat” starter. The spicy crispy shrimp did exactly what you want it to do—crunchy, saucy, a little heat, and dangerously easy to keep picking at. For mains, we went with the grilled rack of lamb and wagyu skirt steak. The lamb came out nicely cooked with a great char and solid seasoning, while the wagyu skirt steak brought big, bold flavor with a rich, buttery edge and a great sear—satisfying without being overcomplicated. Service was attentive and professional, especially considering how busy Hudson Yards can get, and everything came out at a smooth pace. BondST is a solid pick for a date night, celebration, or “we're going out” dinner.
