Came here with friends from work and everything was great until the Bartender Nico was a total jerk to us for being loud (at a bar, imagine that!). He was unprofessional and rude. We promptly left and went to a nearby place that was more welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the city that you can spend your money without encountering a Nico.

Bondurant’s on the Upper East Side is honestly the cutest spot! The bar seating is perfect for grabbing a drink and just chilling with friends. The vibe is super cozy and low-key, but still feels a little fancy in the best way. Their cocktails are amazing, and the small plates are perfect if you’re a little hungry..

So, unbelievably good. Stopped in for a late lunch. Excellent service. Chicken tenders, buttermilk biscuits, shrimp and grits, homemade tater tots and brunch burger for our group. Food was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, fresh and homemade!

Was there the other evening. Male bartender with facial hair, his name started with a J I believe. He doesn’t seem too friendly and not much social grace going on as a bartender. You should be social a bit and friendly when working directly with people. He doesn’t seem happy at all. Maybe he was having a bad day. The drinks he made me were decent.
