First off the food and atmosphere is great. The tall blonde bartender, however attractive and hardworking, needs a lesson in customer service. No smile, no how's your day going. Nothing. You don't have to be my shrink but give some minimal form of effort. It's literally your job. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were having a bad day but I didn't get that vibe. Noticed three girls behind me waiting for seats at the bar so I closed...
I rarely hang out on the UES but I was visiting my friend Scott who lives around the corner from Bondurant’s and the reviews and website intrigued me. Turns out they were spot on. The bartender was both friendly and efficient and the food (we had the hummus, onion soup, and fries) was surprisingly tasty.
