The Thai milk tea is powdery and way too sweet. Me and my friend were willing to give them a chance. And then, the woman with a black bob gave everyone in the restaurant INCLUDING the outdoor seatings a sample except for us lol I cannot make this shit up. If the food was good and the service wasn’t, I’d be honest. The people seem friendly but that was very awkward to experience, and listen we did happen to both be black so put the pieces together.

I know strawberry matcha has been really popular recently so I popped in to try theirs since the sidewalk sign caught my eye. Super light colored matcha made with an electric whisk frother :( plus the large straw made it so you are drinking large chunks of strawberry. Wouldn’t recommend a strawberry matcha here but I’m sure their waffles are good

I’ve been coming here for a while now, and gotta say I’ve loved everything I’ve tried there! If you’re coming I’d highly recommend the peach refresher, they make the peach jam in house and it’s delicious with tea or sparkling water. it’s a family run business, and the people are the nicest!! Please go and support them!
What a FANTASTIC place. If you’re strolling the East village be sure to visit Boongs. The grapefruit refresher with lychee was absolutely scrumptious! Candace and the team were super sweet. Can’t wait to visit again.
