Been wanting to come here for ages and finally got around to it. Everything was great, but the winners are definitely the starters. The artichoke is crunchy but not greasy. You can tell the quality of the ingredients are high. Mushroom bruschetta was my favorite bite. The egg was orange which is always a good sign and all of the flavors complemented one another. Fettuccine was great. Spaghetti was my least favorite bite. Atmosphere is so cozy. Felt like I was in a cottage.
Went for lunch. I was expecting more. Bread cold. Portions small and ok tasting. Expensive. Inconsistent service, sometimes very attentive other time hard to get them. Slow for food to come out. Way too loud in main dining room couldnt hear anyone at table. I was cold too. Otherwise nice staff and cool decor. Wont go back, well maybe if it is nice out and that patio is open and to see if dinner any different. I liked the fava puree. The tuna main lunch was like canned tuna fish...
We would absolutely return for L aWanda. In hospitality, you want people like her on your team - she made our anniversary celebration truly special with her beautiful energy. The food was delicious, and it was a 10/10 experience. We'll definitely be back!
