I can't recommend this Harlem bagel shop enough! Everything about it was great, from the wonderful selection of tasty bagels to the amazing people who were so friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to grab a bagel when you're in the neighborhood. It's nice to see there are still places in NYC where people are still so friendly.
Got the “Black Russian”, a pumpernickel with sesame seeds, with the Stockeld scallion cream cheese. This had all the elements of my dream bagel, since I love pumpernickel, sesame, and stockeld cc. The bagel itself had a crisp exterior and the right amount of chew. My only gripe was they weren’t very generous with the cream cheese. Otherwise, loved it. The coffee was good too. Can’t wait to come back.
4 vegan tofu cream cheese options. I'd rate 3.5 if possible, the bagel was doughier than I typically like.
Pro tip: if you're in a rush order ahead of time for pick up and skip the line.
