The bartender attitude is disgusting. It wasn’t busy and the bartender was acting as if he didn’t want to serve me. I was sitting by the bar for the longest while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive and the bartender was just using his phone. Mind you it was my boyfriends idea to come here I dont know why but it was a BIG mistake coming here. We ordered Crispy Artichokes - was okay. Irish bartender didn’t even check on us he was using his phone constantly. When we paid he said 25% will be appreciate. For what your service?! LOL

Call me a victim of expectations, went there last week but I was fairly disappointed by this place. It certainly boasts an attractive interior, with low lights. However service was terrible, arrogant bartender James or Jamey need to work on his attitude towards customers.

I had the filet and my wife had the short ribs. Both were made to perfection and were large helpings. It essentially operates as a bar where people enjoy beer, ordering sandwiches as a sideline. We were quite taken by the superb quality and variety of dishes in the dinner menu. One grievance, which is not their fault, was it was very loud. On our way back, we go either early or late to the otherwise noisy after-work crowd. Really,y our food and service were excellent. We sat at the back by the fireplace which was a little quieter.

It seems mostly a bar and beer scene with most people ordering their sandwiches. So we were truly surprised how wonderful the dinner selections we had were. We had a great meal here last night. I had the filet and my wife had the short ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and they were quite large portions. Really the steak was one of the best I've had in awhile and the short ribs were amazing. We'll definitely be back. One complaint which isn't their fault is that it was extremely loud. Not uncommon for any NYC restaurant. When we go back we'll either go earlier or later to avoid the noisy after work crowd. Really our food and service was excellent. We sat in the back by the fireplace which was a wee bit quieter.
Those people obviously know nothing about hospitality!I purchased a dinner voucher on an application for this place. When I came there they told me I can't use it and that I need a reservation (We wanted to sit at a bar anyway) But they still didn't allow me. Also more than half of bar was empty 1 and a half hour before closing. I really can't understand why they could 't have let me in for tables too if they obviously had a lot of place for sitting. So it was such a stupid rule. I came all the way for nothing. Disappointment!
