Good food and good service. There was a heat wave in NYC and the air conditioning could have worked better to cool the inside of the restaurant.

The restaurant is old. The food was below average for the prices. The calamari was too chewy and had a distasteful plot and taste the chicken parm was unique. Overcooked and not very appetizing in looks and taste. Pizza looked ok but nothing special. I will not return ad there are several other similar restaurants in this neighborhood that do a much better job with food, Service, and ambience.

4 stars in person. But have picked up twice now. Pizza was under cooked, Cacio e Pepe was bland and seemed like a smaller serving than in the restaurant.

One of my fave neighborhood spots. Delicious food (the bread and tomato spread is always a great start). Excellent craft cocktails, extensive wine choices and friendly servers and bartenders. I love the eggplant Parm and the chicken Milanese (which you can have grilled or fried).
We had a wonderful dinner her on Xmas eve. The food was great and the staff very attentive. The manager is also very attentive and does a terrific job taking care of his patrons. We’ve been to Botte many times and always enjoy it.
