Nice setting and good food, went there for brunch on a Saturday. Despite the fact that the dining room was more than half empty, we were rushed. We had barely touched our bread basket when our entrees arrived. Will visit again but will definitely take my time placing orders. Restaurants really need to learn how to space courses!

Went here for a birthday last night. They have us a nice table and followed the birthday request. Great food, lovely atmosphere.

Cannot go wrong with Steak Frites! Prices are NYC based. Service good, noise level high as it's a tall but beautiful room. Recommend

Very good steak frites. Meat was really good quality, cooked perfectly, delicious. Frites were super good. Salad was very fresh and dressed just right. Great value for the quality of the food. Very French bistro atmosphere, good music. Good service.

Our server, Gaudi, was exceptional. He went the extra mile to make us have a great dining experience since it was our wedding anniversary celebration.

Boucherie - Union Square is the perfect brunch destination. Their menu is packed with all of the favorites and a few surprises as well. The staff and space set the tone for a wonderful afternoon.

Wonderful experience at this charming bistro-every detail from the service to our meals were spot on! Can't wait to return!

Truly enjoyed the oyster selection and the duck a l'orange was fabulous. Scallops with cauliflower just delectable! Loved it all and can't wait to return.

We come to La Boucherie fairly often but had never been there for brunch before and were delighted with how much quieter it was! The food is always delicious and the service is always excellent so the lower volume was enhanced our experience so much. We live in the neighborhood and will look forward to our next visit.

Excellent service and food. A delightful last night meal in NYC with no rushing. Our server was wonderful and gave great suggestions and was attentive all night long. He was very friendly as well but not hovering.

Amy

Beautiful restaurant. The service was great. The food was very good. The location was easy.

Wait staff tried to make it a good experience. But over all we were disappointed in the food (it was bland) for the price and hype.

Wonderful restaurant very near Union Square with a bistro feel. Delicious Caesar salad - the dressing was light not heavy and arrived chopped which is an extra level of service. Pan seared bass was perfectly done with crisp skin. Although it's a large restaurant, our table felt intimate. There's a beautiful bar with lots of bar seating and high-tops also. Service was top-notch, attentive but never rushed. Highly recommend for a special occasion or mid-week splurge!

Restaurant was understaffed which included waiting several minutes for a spoon for french onion soup after having to literally flag someone down. The chicken in Poulet Chausseur was dry, devoid of any seasoning and didn't have any lardons (which could partially explain the lack if any real taste). I can't quite explain the escargot. At least they delivered a reasonable salad. We wanted a simple french bistro for a sunday night. We should have gone to any one of them nearby for a better experience.

Everything exceptional! The service was the best....Timing, hospitality and friendliness...will go back again and again! We had steak fritters, Gruyère and ham omelette, burger and croque madame... all delicious! Dessert was pistachio ice cream, crème brûlée and chocolate ice cream... delish!
