Boucherie is always a hit, the West Village location did not disappoint. We ended up a larger party than our reservation and were very lucky they could accommodate, given the line at the door on a Wednesday. I think this location gets busier than Union Square, also a little smaller, but still a few hundred. We were seated upstairs overlooking the whole restaurant, which is wonderfully decorated for the holidays, albeit somewhat early in the season. Great people watching and the...

I love all the Boucherie restaurants. The 7th Av restaurant was all decked out for Christmas and wonderfully festive. Our waiter was very accommodating, allowing us to enjoy our cocktails before dinner without pushing us to order. We started with a Caesar salad that was classic and excellent. The beef bourguignon was flavorful, tender and delicious, and the steak tartare perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of tanginess. It's a very welcoming space — can't...
