Breads and savory items are where they shine. Their sausage rolls and pies are amazing and I say this as someone who does not typically like sausages. I frequently introduce my meat pie loving friends to Bourke Street for a taste of home. Their sandwiches would be a regular go-to place for lunch for me if I worked closer; great chewy artisan bread with tasty ingredients and satisfying.

Dayna is incredibly friendly and helpful! Great range of products, would love to see a Vegemite and cheese scroll (cheesymite) on the menu! The beef pie is amazing, better than a lot of bakeries in Australia.

If the OG Sydney store is a 5/5, the NYC versions are a 4.9/5

The quiche, coffee and croissant were good. However one of their staff members, a bearded guy with glasses and a baseball cap, was rude. I was looking at the pastries and he seemed like he wanted me to hurry up, not a smile, no nothing, bad attitude overall, when I told him I was paying cash, he made an "are you kidding me?" face. It wasn't a pleasant interaction.

What happened to their pastries? This used to be my favorite almond croissant in NYC, super flaky and crunchy, it would make a mess on my pants and on my face but yesterday was the biggest disappointment. It was almost like a Costco croissant, sorry but not going back after yesterday. I don’t know if the croissant was old but completely off and soggy.

What a touching taste, woo woo woo! The most delicious carrot cake I have ever tasted in my life. It was so delicious that I wanted to cry! The taste is rich, the sweetness is just right, everything is perfect~

Amazing bread! They were quick and sliced the bread for me. We ate bread as soon as we walked out. Perfect crunchy crust and spongy tartine on the inside.

I came in for a cookie in the late afternoon, but there was only a chocolate and sour cherry variety available at the time. I was very uncertain about it, because it didn't sound that appetizing (I thought of cough medicine). But a lovely gentleman behind the counter by the name of Chris kindly granted me one to try. While it did not become my favorite, it was a very nice cookie and I would consider having one again, because the cherry was subtle and the overall flavor ended up being a nice balance without being overly sweet. As for the atmosphere, it gave me the impression of a warm, cozy coffee shop/bakery and the offerings in the display looked delicious. I look forward to coming back. Thanks!
