My friend and I had a reservation for two at 9:15 p.m., and when we were seated, we were placed in what I can only assume—speaking as an event planner—is a meeting-style room with a TV on the wall. There were four other groups in that space, and three of them appeared to be business groups who were extremely loud. It was so loud that my friend and I couldn't even have a conversation and ended up sitting in silence for most of the night. Our server rarely checked on us, and there was a noticeable delay between our drinks being served—about 10 minutes between my first glass of wine and my friend receiving her Coca-Cola. Overall, our waitress seemed dismissive and uninterested, which was disappointing, especially considering we are business professionals who dine out and travel frequently. We were dressed nicely and excited for a good dinner, but the service did not reflect the standard we expected. Unfortunately, both of our steaks were also very tough. Mine was cooked medium-rare and hers medium, but neither was up to par for a steakhouse. I will say the rest of the staff we interacted with were kind and attentive—just not our server.

Visited Bowery Meat Company with my 5yr old son and they took terrific care of us. Jazz is a terrific server. The Chef took us to tour the kitchen and freezers. Meal was incredible in a beautiful restaurant setting.

I have dined at Bowery Meat Company over years and have loved it, but my overall experience last Saturday night was not good at all.
Overwhelmed staff (almost all new faces by the way), managers standing around looking confused, and a sommelier who seemed more interested in pushing HIS wine (incidentally a less expensive one than one we were looking to get.) Oh and watching him open a bottle of wine without a pouring a taste — and not decanting this vintage wine resulting in leaving the finished glasses full of sediment — said it all. And when we wanted to potentially order another bottle he was no where to be found.
Lacking in the level of professionalism I’ve come to rely on over the years (this used to be one of my favorite restaurants) it clearly seems to have lost what once made it great.

Food was decent. Wine recommendations was just ok. Very odd that the wait staff put a price against EVERYTHING. Was there on business with clients. Bar tender was amazing however

The atmosphere is great, feels very much like a lounge, excellent music and ambience.
The food was amazing from start to finish. The wagyu steak that my wife and I shared was outstanding, quite possibly the best steak we have ever had.
The staff was very kind and attentive, but also did not hover. Shout out to Jaz, Victoria, Sienna, and Miguel.

Everything was phenomenal from the pear and goats cheese salad and crudo to start, to the tomahawk. The staff are very passionate about their ingredients, and what they do. Really enjoyed it - I had to book a table for a follow-up visit as I was leaving. Class.

I had a lovely solo dinner here after landing in NYC, the team is very vibrant and the vibe is very moody and even sexy, it fulfills the New York dreamy chicness. Special shout out to Shania, her service was amazingly attentive, and gave spot on recommendations, the pear salads was surprisingly good and crisp and fresh and well seasoned. The steak was juicy and generous. I wish I have bigger appetite for the duck lasagna, which is my bucket list for the next visit! ( with more friends )
