My husband and I love this gem of a restaurant and when we have a chance, we also bring our friends along! Everyone loves the food and atmosphere! We were hoping for a quieter late lunch and a more classic vibe when we requested the upstairs seating, but unfortunately it was not available. Despite a tighter seating space , we still ended up having a great time and enjoying the champagne bottle and delicious escargots with our friend.
We dined with two other couples. Sit upstairs! The room has an excellent vibe. Downstairs looked crowded and noisier but a lot of positive energy. Order the cheese souffle as soon as you arrive since it takes 25 minutes. The menu has something for anyone and the wine selection is perfect. It's only through open table that i learned of this restaurant when i put in specific criteria. great for dates, family meal (with older kids). we will return!
We like Brasserie Cognac very much. It is great value for the food, the staff is friendly, nice, without being overbearing. We have been there several times and will continue to come back.
