This was our first visit to Brasserie Congac, but it will not be the last. The food was wonderful. Our party of 5 shared multiple appetizers, and each had our own entrees. The steak tartar is the best we have ever had! The muscles were good too. Do not skip the gougeres! The service was attentive and friendly. My only recommendation is that they do something about the temperature in the room. It was very hot.
Overall quite good. Prices inflated for what you get, but it's Manhattan. The duck confit should have had more fat. Normally, confit de canard is cured in fat. It was a little dry, but I lived in France, and it was a valiant effort to replicate what I normally would have eaten there. I will return to try some other items on the menu.
Food and service were excellent! We ate outside. Even in a light to moderate rain, the awning kept the rain off us perfectly. We really loved this restaurant and will definitely be back.
