Bread ‘n’ Wine is by far my favorite NYC restaurant, entertainment, wine + cocktail hot spot!
The menu holds delicious, hearty, exotic + healthy choices, especially the “bag-o-(white)fish, cheeseburger, + beef goulash entres.
I visit most Tuesdays between 6:30-9:30pm to groove on jazz from fabulous Dennis Alan Trio. Music also provided Friday + Saturday nights.
Finally, Paul + Oscar have got to be the best + most charming servers in all of NYC!

This place is not a bad restaurant, but I'd say it's average. I think the food was decent, it was tasty, but I would not go again as I can name a lot of better tasting breakfast joints around the city. I thought that the omellete was a bit bland and lacked salt, as well as the hash that I got. My favourite dish on the menu was the French toast.

Food in perfect condition, very quick response time and everything in very good taste! Recommended. Nothing heavy.
Really sub-par food with very tense service. Soup came out cold and then server incorrectly sad it’s chilled (and then checked with the chef). Coffee then comes out cold too. I replaced meat in my sandwich. Was not notified of an up-charge and the server still added on a charge that he was finally very rude about. Will not be returning.

I recently dined at Bread and Wine, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both cozy and elegant.
The menu is a delightful blend of creative dishes and classic favorites. I started with the artisanal bread basket, which was fresh and perfectly paired with a selection of house-made spreads. For the main course, I had the roasted duck, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The wine selection is impressive, featuring a variety of local and international options that cater to all tastes. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect pairing for my meal.
To top it all off, I couldn’t resist trying the chocolate torte for dessert, and it was pure bliss—rich, indulgent, and a perfect end to the meal.
Overall, Bread and Wine offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding food, attentive service, and a lovely ambiance. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu!

Wow! What a great meal! Our server did a great job with recommendations and we were very happy with our fesenjoon (my choice) and the Papprikash soup. And their bread was fabulous too!

I ordered a Mediterranean Salad just an hour ago. First of all, i have a customer of this restaurant since they open for business in Lex. I even know the owner whom I consider a friend. Every time, I come to eat i always order Mediterranean salad and nothing else because it is really good and delicious, the felafel is fesh, and presentation is really mouth watering. BUT, this afternoon that is not the salad i am expecting. Moreso, i have waited for half an hour for my order. The attendant came to me the reason it was late because they are COOKING FRESH FELAFEL. And when my order came thw felafel is cold like it came out from FREEZER, the plating is beyond my expectation. but i did finish some of the salad. Unfortunately, i did not bring my phone with me so i could take a picture of the bottom of the romaine which is included in my salad. I showed it yo the attendant and ask him if he can it eat!!! He should it to the cook and apologize?. So disappointed because the restaurant i used to love is now going to the drain. I will never be surprised if one day they will close. This post is not to discredit the restaurant but I want the management to the people who works with you is not being careful to their work.

This is my go-to spot in my neighborhood. The pick two with the roast turkey sandwich and the chicken paprikash soup is my standard order. The prices are reasonable and the food is always really good. For the most part, the same people have worked there for quite a while and they are friendly, so it's easy to start to feel like a regular.
