Bread N Wine is a FIND. What a charming little spot in New York’s Upper East Side with a neighborhood vibe and creative menu that will rock your boat in all the right ways. We arrived on a chilly afternoon and were delighted to see Côtes du Rhône on the wine list - which immediately warmed things up. We had the grilled cheese and a bowl of the house chicken soup, and both curled our toes and brightened our moods. The atmosphere is comfortable, with just a few tables and impeccable service. Put this spot on your list if you’re taking in the Guggenheim Museum or the Frick Collection.

Charming little place that seems half bar/half restaurant. The eclectic menu has something for everyone, and most of our party chose the soup & sandwich option which enabled us to try more of the entrées.

The credit card surcharge seems to be whatever the staff printing the check thinks you are not going to notice. For me it was about 15%... I won't go back

Absolutely loved this place. It’s small, cozy, and has such a chill vibe. When we walked in, someone was playing guitar, which made it feel extra warm and welcoming. The service was super friendly, and the food was good. Loved everything about it!

Service NOT GOOD in general. Check your bill. I'd had two cocktails when I inquired why my credit card was charged $123 which was more than the bill and I was told there was a surcharge for using the credit card. When I got home I noticed the bill clearly said $115 for cash and $119 for using credit card. Like an idiot I'd tipped $20. Not a huge deal, but I would never return -I felt like they'd stolen from me.

Good place if you like waiting an hour for someone to take your order and another hour before they bring out your food. We're still waiting so it might be even longer.

Cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was not good. The service was indifferent. The ‘Vege on Nan Wrap’ was drenched in balsamic vinaigrette and the Nan was soggy. The lentil soup was mush, better tasting from a can. Disappointing.

Has a peaceful atmosphere, excellent pizza and perfect martinis! Me and my partner found this little gem after visiting the met, and was only about a 20 minute walk.

We loved the friendly service and the crust on the pizza was just thin enough to be satisfying and crispy. Well worth the visit!

One of my favorite places in the whole city. Amazing happy hour wine selection and the french onion soup is my go-to.
