Service was terrible, I wanted to buy a baguette but the lady was so rude and impolite with a bad tone so I just walked out. They need to teach their staff to how to take cate of clients and not to be rude. Never again in this place. There are so many other options

I think sometimes a few employees appear racist. I visit sometimes on my way to work & that's my observation as a customer of color. I buy their cheesestraws. Pricey, so I don't visit too often.

I can’t recommend this bakery enough! The service and staff are always so nice and welcoming, making it the best spot in the neighborhood. I’ve been coming here regularly and have never been disappointed. Their croissants are truly authentic, just like you’d find in bakery in Paris, and their breads are incredible, from the challah to the rye. The egg breakfast sandwich is a must-try—the omelette is cooked to perfection every time. And don’t forget to grab a coffee while you’re there—the baristas have a great sense of service, and their mocha is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I go every week, and I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

Probably the best bread in the UES.
I have been coming to this bakery since it opened
I always buy 5 or 6 appetizers and i always get a complimentary loaf of bread. Today the girl at the register tried to charge me for the bread. I explained to her that the bread is complimentary. She asked another girl at the register who said they can’t give it to me for free since its their last loaf. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager Lisa said that whoever used to give me a loaf with the purchase of 5 appetizers was wrong. She said that they can only give 6 complimentary slices and only if you buy 6 things. Either the staff is getting incompetent or the owners are cutting down?
