My server was terrific, but was occupied a lot with bringing people food and checks and meanwhile the bartenders stood about 10 feet away from me just having casual conversation about their days and their lives audibly enough to be able to hear them at the table but no one ever check to see if I needed anything, even though it was obviously waiting for someone to collect my check. in an almost empty restaurant that shouldn't happen. Just saying. And I'm not the type to complain.
When looking for a place to eat before Carnegie Hall, look no further than Wolf. Quiet atmosphere, impeccable Service and great food that won't empty your wallet. The waiter was very helpful in choosing our dinner.
We went last year and enjoyed it, but it was even better this time. Great cocktails(I loved the Paper Plane. Amazing apps (squash and octopus) and terrific mains (salmon and rigatoni). Delicious wine, tasty gelato, and superb service. Will surely go again.
The chef was very nice to greet at our table and the server was perfect for the sequence of serving the food. Of course, the food was consistently beyond the expectation. Highly recommend.
i found the food a little meh... Wolf salad came with these huge chunks of rubbery bacon (that was super fatty and looked more like pork belly). Chicken sandwich was ok, a grilled chicken thigh that oddly has skin, rather on the small side. Brussels sprouts with parmesan strips and a vinegar base were good. Cocktails very pricey at $22. i didn't find the food elevated enough to be at this price level, though maybe i'm just out of tune with inflation prices in Manhattan!
Always a great experience at Wolf. The staff is charming, the food is delicious, and especially considering the midtown location, excellent value for money. The grilled asparagus with soft cooked egg, spring onion vinaigrette, peas and torn croutons is absolutely outstanding, one of the best dishes I've had this season. And the handmade spaghetti with king crab, bottarga, Calabrian chili and toasted breadcrumbs is a totally crave-worthy pasta.
Everything was delightful. We had 5 apps each one better than the last. Beet salad great. Baguette with fennel honey butter.what a magnificent pairing. Octopus cooked to perfection. Burratta yummy. Polenta fritters sauce was other worldly
Wolf, what a hidden gem. Inside Nordstrom‘s on the second floor you'll find a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere, the view, the service, and the food are all excellent. Went for dinner after an art opening in the neighborhood with friends and it was the perfect spot. Everything we ordered from the octopus with saffron potatoes, the gem salad, the salmon, both pastas, the buccatini, the pacierri all divine and delicious. our server, Alpert was great start to finish. I highly recommend Wolff and just to add lunch is terrific as well.
I have been twice and the food the first time was excellent. Last night the appetizer Brussels sprouts and the buratta were excellent but the pasta special and the gnocchi were way overcooked. We ordered the zeppeli and they were nothing special and one had a piece of plastic inside.
My favorite go-to restaurant in my neighborhood. The service is impeccable and so friendly. The dishes are always delicious. Best of all, shopping right inside Nordstrom is super convenient.

Out of necessity, our foursome had to eat early (5:00 reservation) before a Carnegie concert that started at 7pm. Wolf is close by on the second floor of Nordstroms. They have a happy hour menu that fit our needs perfectly. The tagliolini caccia pepe was tasty, if a bit heavy, and three of us really enjoyed the burger and fries. Calm atmosphere, good service and the Happy Hour menu makes dinner quite affordable. We'll be back!
I came here for happy hour with coworkers and the experience was great from beginning to end. This bar is located inside of Nordstrom. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The staff is friendly and welcoming and immediately sat my party and I upon arrival.I ordered a burger and fries (to share) and the Next Flight Out cocktail ($12 at Happy Hour). The prices were great and they kindly cut and separately plated the burger for my friend and I to share. Everything was delicious! If you’re in the area, this relaxed laid back bar is definitely worth visiting.

Close to Jazz at Lincoln Center, reasonable prices, high quality. Likely to become our pre-concert go-to dinner place. We all ended up ordering the from Restaurant Week menu. Good variety of choices, and all we tried were delicious: octopus, salad, pork belly appetisers; cod and not-ravioli entres; semolina cake, hot chocolate desserts. No leftovers. Service was professional and friendly. He asked if we needed to get to a show (we did) and made sure we were out on time.
Absolutely excellent! We enjoyed the restaurant week special which was the roasted chicken entree and radicchio salad to start. Both were delicious. Perfectly prepared. We also had the warm bread which was a wonderful treat and the cheese cake to finish the meal. Service was outstanding and food was exceptional. We will go back. We were very surprised to find such a delicious meal in a retail store!
From our arrival thru our departure, every aspect of our visit was top notch. The greeting, service, description of specials, cocktails, wine, small plates and entrees were spectacular.
