Love this restaurant. Casual, excellent menu and food and quiet enough for good conversation. Staff exceptionally gracious and helpful
It was wonderful to celebrate with a birthday brunch with a longtime friend! He loved the birthday cookie with a candle.
Quaint, charming cafe on the top floor of the Nordstrom NYC flagship store. Across the street from Carnegie Hall it's perfect for a before concert dinner ; not fussy or pretentious just good food presented by a caring, professional staff.
Great quiet spot for lunch. Light and bright and nice menu. The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. This is a super convenient location and you can easily reserve on line ( it was full at 12:45 on Monday!) I give this lunch spot a big thumbs up.
The hostess greeted and seated us fairly quickly. The manager- Matthew was very nice and greeted us. Our server Andrew was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, very efficient to get our food prepared to our preference. He checked on us periodically. Andrew is excellent and vey professional! The drinks were delicious - coke, seltzer, Perrier Jouet Brut and the food was very good especially the Wolf Salad. I just wish they'd have some jumbo shrimp dish? We ordered Arancini and The Wolf Salad as appetizers. My husband had Prime burger and fries. My daughter ordered a Bucatini pasta dish, I ordered Paccheri pasta with prawns. The prawns were small and cut up into little pieces. Not what I had expected. I was looked forward to whole shrimp. All in all, the food was delicious and cooked to our preferences! Dessert was delicious- pistachio, vanilla gelato and the cantaloupe sorbet were delicious! We've been to Wolf a few times this year. The burgers and The Wolf Salad are excellent. Last week my daughter ordered the steak and it was tender and delicious! Overall the ambiance and dinner experience at Wolf Restaurant was enjoyable! Thank you!
Lovely dining experience set away from the selling floor... Nice views along with a creative menu Would return
We had a excellent server and the food was amazing. The only downside was due to the two girls who were seated next to us who ordered pasta dishes and were shooting content and flashing their phone flashlights and were being very silly and rude. Definitely not respecting other diners in this restaurant.
A hidden gem. We followed our curiosity from the understated signage to discover exceptional value in a sophisticated New York space. We've live in the neighborhood 30 years and didn't know it was here. Paccheri pasta with juicy, flavor-packed shrimp. Arancini that arrived crisp, golden and light, tender. Brussels sprouts with smoky bacon and just the right sweet sour balance, served by an engaging and knowledgeable server (who trained at Culinary Institute of America!). Reasonable prices. Wow!
WOLF is a terrrific restaurant. The menu is filled with creative dishes, great salads and starters, and yummy pasta dishes. The cocktails and wine list are excellent, too. I'm particularly impressed with the skilled and friendly wait staff and greeter. Everyone on the WOLF team are friendly and welcoming and competent. With a convenient midtown Manhattan location, I plan to come back as often as possible. This restaurant is on the 2nd floor and yet has nice midtown skyline views.
Consistently good food. Great service and a nice ambiance. Never too loud and great for nice lunches or dinner.
Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered a pasta dish which included sugar snap peas. The outer parts were very very finrous and inedible. I told the waitress specifically about it, and that she should talk to the chef. She did not get back to me, did not thank me, never another comment. Still tasty.
Excellent friendly staff and decor. However food was just not good. Wanted to love this spot.
Went for a meeting with volunteers, so we needed to be able to talk. The noise level was just right, the food was delicious and our server, Malcolm, took great care of us. I will go back.
Fantastic salads and and fresh pasta served with top notch sevice. I highly recommend the signature Wolf salad.
Food was great as usual but do not recommend the counter seating- service was spotty and open kitchen vibe was weird. Get a table by the window
