I ordered pizza for my Son and I for dinner. one of the slices was a sausage slice which was clearly just a regular slice with sausage sliced on top of it,which would be fine except, when I opened the box you could immediately smell that the meat was not good. When I called the business to inform them, the woman who claims to be the owner and chef refused to speak to me and told the man on the phone to tell me she did not speak english.Shame on her.

I'm originally from NY, but have moved to NC. I came back for my grandson, who had heart surgery across the street and was hoping for some really good pizza. This place didn't disappoint - it was really good! What I do have a problem with is bait and switch. Online prices are given, and when you walk in, the prices above, on the board match. I ordered, and what should have been $12+tax, turned out to be $18+tax. When I asked the girl at the register who, "only works here", she added that the actual prices are in their take away menu stacked on the counter. She also added that it was brought up weeks ago by another customer, and it's up to the owners to change the pricing and address the issue, not her.I have no problem with paying for anything that is clearly stated by the establishment whatever it is that they charge. As a consumer, we make choices based on how much, and do we want it? There are hundreds of pizza places - WHY NOT be diligent and up front with your customers? It's deception and poor business.Pizza, good.Pizzeria and customer service, not so good.If ever back in the city, I'll spend my hard earned money on another place that has more integrity and honesty.☆And, girl at the register, MAYBE suggest patrons look at the actual menu on the counter that's next to the register, with current pricing, and not at the above the counter and online pricing. You work there, do your job!

Pretty much every independent pizza place in NYC is amazing quality! (i.e. not PapaJohns). I like Broadway Pizza because their slices are generally a dollar cheaper than the rest around the UWS. So $3 per cheese slice instead of $4 or $5 for a slice of plain (cheese) pizza everywhere else. Note that any specialty pizza (including Pepperoni, which I consider the basic standard) is $4-$9 a slice. You can usually get an entire pie for $15.

The pizza at this place just seems to be getting worse and worse. My 2 slices had barely any sauce or cheese on top, and they were burned.Do yourself a favor and walk away.

Broadway makes a tolerable plain pizza. It isn't particularly bad or particularly good, I'd consider it to be decent. I won't be recommending this place to anyone but if you're looking for a quick slice, I won't say to avoid it.The cheese and sauce didn't really stand out and came across as kinda weak flavored. The dough wasn't half bad but definitely more on the doughier side, which isn't my favorite.

I ordered online through their link, not doordash. Made a special request on both pizzas. They honored one (add basil and black pepper), so we know they read it, and ignored the 2nd, which was "add sausage." Their site doesn't offer just pepperoni or just sausage, only combos. I got just a cheese pizza and when I called they said they made what the order said, put the phone down and left it there, on an open line and never picked it back up.
