First time there. Crowded with people going to Carnegie Hall. The choral group was there but we got service quickly. Chicken pot pie was very good. The beef patties sandwich was also very good. Seats tight but atmosphere was great. We will return.
Food is very taste, portions are large . Seated quickly. Service at table was a little slow.
Loved Brooklyn Diner! Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, an overall outstanding experience.
Loved our meal and the staff! Great food selections, the food was prepared perfectly and was so good! We chose the all day breakfast of French toast and the omelette. Both were so good! The staff was amazing and made sure my nut allergy was a priority.
Brooklyn Diner is a must if you like real comfort food, and especially if you're going to Carnegie Hall. The food is good and filling, and the staff is very helpful. The only reason I gave it four stars for food is that the coconut cake, which I had been craving, wasn't up to my recollection. But the chicken pot pie is OUTSTANDING!
One of my pet peeves is restaurants offering something high quality and then baiting and switching in something cheap, like listing freshly squeezed orange juice with a breakfast choice and then serving mass produced, much cheaper bottled orange juice. This happens here. On leaving, when I asked for the menu to confirm that I had read freshly squeezed, I mentioned this to the host who then launched into an even worse pet peeve “I trust my server who has worked here for 30 years”. That means the customer comes last and that is what happens at Brooklyn Diner. Lastly, I order Greek yogurt with granola for breakfast and found one small tablespoon of Greek yogurt under sugary granola... a $22.95 terrible breakfast that could have had protein and been good, but instead focused on sugar to start my day. I should have eaten at home. Won't return.
Great service, amazing food - awesome American diner.

First the wait staff was a no show after ordering your food. The bathrooms felt like you were at a MTA transit bathrooms. It's was dirty and trash was all over place. My son had a dirty fork, and they didn't provide an apology after we requested a new silverware. Please visit the other location on 43rd street.
First time in Manhattan and this was super nice original diner like in the movies…. The Food was very delicious, expensive but this is New York and Brooklyn Diner 🇺🇸 can afford this 😉!!!!
