The food was amazing, 10/10!! Our waiter Rafi was amazing and super helpful and sweet!! The diner had an amazing atmosphere and it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Would 100% recommend!!

We have dined at both Brooklyn Diner locations for breakfast and dinner and both experiences were excellent. These locations have the classic diner feel which seems harder and harder to find these days. Most recently we were in for dinner, the spicy margaritas were a perfect start to a fun meal with Genina(?). We shared the Mexican burrito bowl and the burger for dinner and the bowl was outstanding. It felt like a home-cooked meal in the big city. Genina was attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The burger and fries were well executed. We will be back for the pot pie and the lasagna ASAP.

We were really looking forward to visiting as the photos/reviews are generally good. So we booked a few weeks in advance….only to have our reservation cancelled via email 2 hours before we were due to arrive, with no reason provided???The diner didn't even text or phone me to say they cancelled the booking, I only realised it had been cancelled on our way to the diner as I just happened to check my emails by chance. I didn’t expect a booking made weeks in advance to be cancelled 2 hours before.…So they couldn't be bothered to call and give a reason for the cancellation? Why take my phone number on the reservation if you’re not going to use it?? At least have the manners to let me know why you’re cancelling on us at such short notice?We had to scramble to find another place to eat last minute…not very professional and really disappointing.

On Sunday, April 21 at 9:30 in the morning, we went to have lunch here after running a race in central park, when we arrived at the door the host told us that we had to wait outside because they were cleaning the empty tables and that he would let us know When we could enter, he asked us our name and we stayed outside waiting, immediately a table of 5 American people who also came from the same race arrived and let them in immediately, we thought it was because it was for a larger table, but to our surprise It was when another American couple wanted to come in, he ushered them in and seated them at a table, then we approached to ask what problem he had with us and why he was making us wait and he let the rest of them in and he bluntly told us NO. He wanted us there, for us to leave, that man discriminated against us for being Latino.I recommend Latinos not to go there if they do not want to be discriminated against by the hostI would like the owner or manager to contact me for an apology for the horrible attitude of their employee
