Well it’s in a good location with lots of people crossing for sure as they get lots of reviews. Anyway, service is great, environment is vibrant. We ordered the pancake flight and chicken burger - plating was amazing but pancakes were dense, we wanted a fluffier texture. Chicken burger was good, not blown away though.

I’ve been visiting New York City for 20 years, and I’ve dined at countless spots across the city. Yet, I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience at a neighborhood restaurant. Aside from the manager, who did make an effort to accommodate us, the rest of the staff—including the servers—were unfriendly and unprofessional from the moment we walked in.
Having worked in hospitality my entire life, I can confidently say that the team here needs a serious reminder: customers come to spend their money and deserve to be treated with respect.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. We walked in as a group of five (no reservation), and four of us were seated while one was just a few minutes late. The waitresses actually started arguing with us over keeping the table, even though we were already ordering and clearly just waiting for our friend. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude — we were polite the entire time. The way they treated us was uncomfortable and disrespectful. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic courtesy.

definitely understand why theyre considered the best pancakes in NYC, these were SO GOOD! we waited for about 40 minutes for a table on a thursday morning. we ended up sitting outside under the heaters and at first I wasnt too pleased but then when i walked through the restaurant to use the bathroom i was SO glad because inside was SO PACKED i would have been uncomfortable. We ordered a stack of pancakes, side of biscuits, and then a pancake/eggs/sausage platter and devoured everything. Since it was our first time we didnt try any of the fun toppings we wanted to taste the pancakes on their own and they were PHENOMENAL. I dont usually order pancakes cuz theyre usually boring and tasteless but honestly, these barely needed syrup. HIGHLY recommend and wish we had time to go back a second time during our trip.
