Very disappointed with the service we received, arrived on 25th November around 8.15 am, we were 1st in the queue and the door person asked how many were looking to be seated, I replied 2 she said it would be around 20 minutes waiting time or we could get a table outside right away, she asked us to queue at the corner of the building and she would come and sort us out, other people that had 4 or more in party were allowed in. She eventually came to where we were asked to stand by this time there were about 10 of us, she then informed us they could not cope with seating at the outside tables and we would have to go to the end of the main queue by which time the queue was right along the street, we questioned her saying we had originally been 1st in the queue, she was not interested, we left and will not be back.

This place is the most over-hyped TikTok craze if I have ever seen one. There is a que at the door at 8am before it even opens. They then pile everyone in and then it becomes a military operation, the staff act like they are members of the secret service making everyone like up against a wall shoulder to shoulder! The staff are amongst some of the rudest people I have ever encountered and seem to enjoy being rude to customers who ask simple questions when there has been 0 communication. God forbid you also go as a couple because if all tables of 2 are full you will wait an hour for a table of 2 to become available whilst there is numerous tables of 3/4/5 available. Would never return!

Bubby’s absolutely lived up to the hype — especially the savory chicken pancakes. The moment I took the first bite, I fully understood why everyone raves about them. The pancakes were unbelievably fluffy, the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the sweet–savory combo with the maple drizzle was honestly perfection on a plate.
We actually came here just for the pancake hype, and wow… totally worth it. The other food we ordered was also really good, but the chicken pancakes definitely stole the entire show.
And of course, I had to visit because this is one of the favorite spots of Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif — and let me tell you, she has great taste in restaurants 😂✨
Came here with friends and it turned into such a fun, delicious outing. If you’re in NYC, don’t skip Bubby’s — and definitely don’t skip the pancakes!

Stopped in 3 times so far for to go orders of the Meatloaf meal & I add a side. Never more then a 15 min wait, they package everything perfectly to survive a subway commute. The meatloaf itself is great wrapped in bacon as is the mashed potatoes, brussels, asparagus, & baked potato. My newest go to-for a meal split with my husband.

The rude service from the first waiter was compensated for by the kindness and efficiency of the second. The place is noisy, but the food is truly delicious.
We knew it would be good when it’s 35 degrees F and the line is 45 min out the door. Because we had time to look at the menu already we were ready to order upon being seated. Food came out in 5-10 minutes. It was spectacular. Two of us shared the biscuits and gravy. Hatch chilies and fluffy biscuits, slightly in the sweet side, made for a great breakfast. The potatoes were loaded with onions and cooked perfectly. The praline pumpkin pie was smooth and light while the pralines were crunchy and the crust was on point. The hot chocolate was very rich, with a toasted marshmallow. Lovely. The music was a bit loud, but not enough to take away any stars from this great place. And I didn’t eat in one place that I thought the music wasn’t too loud, so I guess it’s a thing. Or I’m getting old.

We went fairly early without a reservation and waited around 20ish minutes. It was a bit cold inside, but the food made up for everything - this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I’m writing this review a month after my visit, and I still mention this place every few days. It’s on the pricier side, but as a one-time experience, I’d absolutely recommend it

Flew in from michigan this week and Bubby's was on my NYC bucket list and it did not disappoint. Had freshly squeezed orange juice, hot chocolate with a HOMEMADE marshmellow??? are you kidding me?? So YUMM. Pancakes are amazing!!! All a around amazing food and quick service. Will 1000% return.

Had to try it for its fame. My conclusion is, not worth it for what I ordered. Tried their sourdough pancakes with chicken. With black coffee. I personally love Sourdough but I did not like Sourdough pancakes. It was really too sour and was a weird combination with the syrup. The regular pancakes tasted much better in general. My biggest problem was with the chix and coffee. Chicken did not taste fresh. It had a gamey smell that old frozen imported chicken has when cooked. The coffee was extremely acidic but not like fresh brew acidic. It tasted like powder instant coffee. Overall, I wouldn't go back nor recommend it to others.
