All vegetables based appetizers were amazing, but all protein based appetizers / tapas didn't work.
I hope it's one of these nights ...

Food was not that good, especially conpared to these ratings. Artichokes tasted like they were grilles from the can. Paella had 0 depth of flavors; like packaged spanish rice cooked separately from seafood. Dates were overcooked. Sangria was tasty but smallest pitcher ever. Not cheap. Not worth a re/visit

This is my favorite neighborhood spot. Cozy wine bar offering delicious wines and good food served by a friendly staff.

I love this place and frequently choose it as a place to meet friends. There are several mainstays on the tapas menu that are terrific- the baby artichokes, the shrimp, the Brussels Sprouts. We had two special tapas this time, a delicious ribeye with arugula, and a seared mahi-mahi filet with a green sauce. The co-owner and sometime hostess, Courtney, is always charming, funny and an expert at making you feel welcome.

Unimpressed, mediocre tapas, food lacked depth in flavor and poorly executed dishes. Some examples: Octopus smelled and tasted fishy which means it wasn’t fresh. Watery baby scallop dish, shrimp al ajillo was more oil than anything, they don’t clean the shrimp. The paella had good flavor although the color was off (not enough saffron), fried calamari was good…..wouldn’t come back for those two items though.

The food was quite delicious, I especially enjoyed the shrimp and the lamb chops. The service was good. Unfortunately, the enclosed area in front of the entrance where we were sitting wasn't waterproof and we had to move indoors because it began to rain. Although it was quite noisy indoors when I first arrived, it was less so later when we had to move tables. I'm not a fan of the high top tables which were difficult for one in our party to get in and out of but I'd definitely go back.

This place had great atmosphere and service but the food was lack luster at best. I love tapas and I spent some time living in spain so I can confidently say this food was not it. There are great places in nyc for tapas this place just isn’t one of them we didn’t get drinks so I can’t comment on them. The paella lacked flavor, the croquettes were oddly too sweet and the texture was interesting, and the gambas were okay but again nothing special.

The RUDEST manager. Portions far smaller than Pil Pil, Boqueria - both of which I had been to in past month - and every other tapas place I have ever gone to but the prices high for what you get. I have been to Spain and they can try to convince people these were tapas size but no. In Spain it’s either larger portions or small prices or top cuisine. Food is bland and unsophisticated. They have decided to rip their customers off and shame on them. Worst dining experience of the year. The place is cute inside and I guess the happy hour wouldn’t be bad for a glass of wine. But the rest is horrible. I live in the neighborhood and so want to be supportive. But I will be sure to steer people away. Such a shame.

Service was very attentive. The restaurant would need more light, there were several of us using the cell to see the menu. Food was very well presented and I would call it 50% Spaniard, the rest has been American adapted. Would go again.

Decent food but not Spanish. Some Spanish names and ingredients but not recipes.Too dark, you can't even read the menu.Good service.Ok if it's convenient to you, but not worth it going out you way to pay a visit.

Great Spanish tapas with tasty food and nice vibe! All the food we tried was good. Portion of each dish is not too big and we were able to try four dish. Our waiter was very nice as well. Would love to come back again and try other dish!
