Everything we ordered was outstanding and plentiful! Our waitress Asheera was very knowledgeable and helpful with her suggestions. Must haves: the sea bass and the cauliflower lollipops.
It's always such a treat to go to this restaurant. The treatment is like royalty and their food is always amazing. I've had the best memories here over the years.
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on Saturday, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.
shout out to our server! i don't know her name but we know she will be having a baby soon :). she was thoroughly friendly and amazing! also, the filipino woman was hostess (?) was just as amazing. we love this place. its always a must go every time we visit NY. we will be back!
Enjoyable evening dining at Buddakan as usual.... Lovely ambiance, and our waiter Aiden deserves a special mention; he was attentive and efficient! Thank you.
Been wanting to try this since this was a stop on the Sex & the City tour. Fantastic meal!
Absolutely delicious food, but terrible service. The waiter was overly dramatic and was not cognizant of the bartenders inability to make quality drinks. Would go for food and vibes, not service.
My friends and I dined at Buddakan for my birthday and had the most incredible time! All of the staff from beginning to end were helpful and kind. We ordered several food items to share as a group and found everything to be tasty and fresh. The drinks were equally good and we felt the final purchase price for a group of 8 was more than reasonable. Would highly recommend!
Buddakan was great! It is absolutely stunning in there. I wasnt the biggest fan of my fish, it just wasnt what I expected but that shouldnt take away from the amazing foods and experience I had.
My son and I had an amazing experience for dinner. We just went for it on the menu and we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, the wine selection was great and the ambiance....wow! The ambiance is an experience in itself.

Buddakan is a site to see. The restaurant itself makes a bold statement. The good news is, our experience was excellent and the food also made a bold statement. We had the pork buns (a must), black peppered beef (very tender), chili rock shrimp (a little kick) and the wild mushroom chow fun. In hindsight we regret not ordering the fried rice - but we had to leave room for dessert. Glad we did. For dessert we had the crying chocolate and the ube mochi donuts. Both were delicious hits. Hard to pick which one was better so get them both! Highly recommend. We also tried a cocktail called Blush. More of a feminine drink served pink which was delicious. I wish I had gotten our server's name that Sunday evening because he was very helpful in making recommendations and describing the food choices. We have already recommended Buddakan to friends traveling to NY next month. A destination worth reserving.
We have been going to this restaurant since it opened over 20 years ago and it's so consistent in everything they do! Absolutely delicious and excellent hospitality. It's a beautiful restaurant and an NYC staple.
I enjoyed the food and felt like the bill was great for how much we ate, however I did not appreciate a snarky remark made from one of the staff.
After visiting her numerous times, we've decided that we enjoy coming in right at opening around 5:30 PM. It is less crowded and the staff is super attentive. Our selections were amazing. We went with the jade shrimp dumpling, the lobster eggroll, and the broccoli and black bean sauce. The Blush was our cocktail of choice. Never disappoints. We were particularly happy with our experience this time. Highly recommended.
Excellent service, food and vibes. Staff and servers were above and beyond helpful and friendly!
