I went to buddakan last night to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. The first thing I will say is the service is amazing and they made it feel very special and high scale. The ambiance was exuding nightclub with the loud music but also romantic with a candlelight dinner. It’s very dark in there, which is part of the ambiance. The food was presented very well and tasted great but the portions felt quite small. The service was great from the moment you step in till the moment you leave and the servers and the hosts were very respectful. Definitely would recommend and come back for a second time.

Atmosphere is a 10/10. So good with a group to order all the dishes off the menu to come out at once and enjoy. Portions are just enough to leave you super satisfied. Great wine and everyone enjoyed their cocktails. The dim lights and ambience are amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Really great service and food. Pork buns were super flavorful, dumplings were a bit hit and miss. We got the survey platter and a couple were out of this world and a couple were just mid.Expect over $20 for a glass of wine, which even for NY is a bit pricy. Overall happy and left full!

From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re gonna have a different experience at first we didn’t like the table that we were seated at, but they moved us down to the library where we had a nice warm intimate setting and the service was perfect. everything that she recommended especially the general tso’s dumplings were unforgettable. The drinks while expensive were worth it. I can’t wait to come back. The price was right for the phenomenal feast and ambience.

The edamame dumplings are very good here, as well as the lobster egg rolls and the dessert is good. The service is good, and the atmosphere is good on the weekend. prices are good as well, but in my opinion, I like tell better for more authentic Chinese food.
The music is super loud but the place is so beautiful, and the food is super good and well portioned for the price. I recommend the Peking Duck with the lobster rice.
The food here was good, but the front desk service was absolutely horrible!! it was my friend's birthday, and we called in twice ahead of time to make sure that we would be able to get the seating at the main table, when we first walked in, they led us to one of the back tables in which we told them that we literally called in twice about the main seating area. Then they proceeded to make us wait for 45 minutes, with horrible attitude from the front desk. Additionally, there was a candle at each of the tables that continue to melt onto the floor, and a lot of people were slipping on it, which is a hazard and so dangerous for everyone walking by. Our waitress, however, was very sweet and nice and the food was pretty good. The environment is super dark and really hard to see where you are going or eating.
