OK so either they moved, or always had a second location in Washington Heights before the Sugar Hill location shut town. Either way, I ordered delivery from them at 4476 Broadway. I'd had Chicken Quesadillas from them before and they were great. However this time I got something ... different. It was chicken? I guess? But shredded like tuna salad (if it had spicy mexican flavor instead of mayo). And the Queso part of that? I mean ... I think it had cheese in it but it was hard to tell coz it was a mashed up mess. Usually it's solid chunks mixed with the cheese and everything is fresh and delicious. This ... I mean .. did they open a can of Swanson and use that instead? I mean I know restaurants in the city are hurting under COVID but holy freaking hell! I assumed the reason their prices are so high is because they use fresh quality ingredients. And up till now, they have. The hot wings, tacos, all fantastic. But this is some BS. Nah. I'm done. If this new location survives it won't be because of me. Good luck fellas.

Delicious tacos! They're all good.

Delivered via UberEats. The shrimp and cauliflower tacos are good. Shrimp burrito wasn't nothing to sing about but it was ok. Guacamole was pretty on point

Darryl is holding down the fort mostly by him self. Amazing service, amazing food.

The food here far exceeded our expectations. The pork belly was so tender and flavorful. The tinga chicken tacos were flavorful and layered, with fresh cilantro and tortillas. The smoked Chipotle sauce was delightful and surprising nuanced. Highly recommend. Will come again.

I ordered several tacos from this place: the steak taco, the Baja fish taco, chorizo taco, roasted cauliflower taco, pork belly taco, and the tinga chicken taco. In general, each taco was dry and needed some seasoning. The roasted cauliflower taco was pretty good, with lemon pepper, turmeric, and cayenne. The only one I would call really good was the tinga chicken taco, which was the only one that was flavorful and moist with grill marks. Each taco had some pickled onions and carrots thrown in, but you couldn’t really taste them. I also ordered the chips and guacamole, with the guacamole being picante, or hot. The chips were crisp and the guacamole was indeed hot. Overall, I wouldn’t try this place again.

Place was empty during lunch which is not a good sign but we went with it. They seemed like they were getting a bunch of delivery orders though. I think the name throws people for a loop since people may not know what it is. I know I was confused but needed something in the area. Not sure what Buddha is and still don't. We ordered the cauliflower taco and baja taco. The first thing I noticed was the fishy smell to the baja taco. Place smelled a little overall. Luckily, we made it out unscathed. I'm not saying this is horrible food but it is right around average. I would stay away from the fish tacos but the others were good. The guacamole was a little pricey for what you get but it was decent. The chips are definitely homemade and addicting! Good luck to Buddha Taco! Hope it works out.

I really enjoy Buddha. Their tacos are great. I'm particularly fond of the fish tacos. Second, they have surprisingly good chicken wings, which I was not expecting. Like, whoever runs their fryer is on their game. I always get them naked with the sauce on the side, because it guarantees that they're extra crispy. We also get the elote every time we're in, love the yuca fries, and have gotten wasted on the margaritas....more than once.

The service was terrible. The girl at the bar (Jade I believe her name is) was absolutely awful. Have gone several times and each time, the music is overly loud (with only about 4 people in the whole joint) and the tacos are awful. Their trivia tuesdays are a joke and their Thursday karaoke is probably just as bad as the tacos. Harlem Public down the street is better and the vibe is 10x more fun. Don't waste your time or money!
