Great little spot. Happy hour was good however if someone asks for a happy hour menu; I think the server should identify what isn’t part of it. There was a nice little surprise of an expensive drink on our bill. When asked we were told that wasn’t part of happy hour. ??♀️
Either than that, the food was yummy! Can be a tad bit greasy, but was delicious and flavorful. We went on a Saturday evening and I think maybe 3 people were working. The service was very slow. Also kid friendly as many young families were there.
I would go back

Inconsiderate people who blast their music until 3 am when people live above them. Extremely annoying.

Super laid-back local place for excellent margs and Mexican food. The birria and lengua tacos were amazing and the service is excellent. Thank you for bringing good Mexican food to the UES at decent prices

More like mala onda. Service was terrible, when they eventually showed up. Did not get to try the food other than the canned salsa because of it.

Sometimes I'm struck my one aspect of a place and I mess with the algorithms by giving fives across the board. The food didn't change my life or make me question physics but it was solid, authentic food that brought me back to visiting Mexico. The environs was not notable besides being clean and cozy and welcoming. But the staff and service really made us feel at home and put the stars in our eyes and so what else could I do not put them in this review?

A HIDDEN GEM. As a Hispanic upper east sider, this place is legit. The carne is top tier. The Mexican rice is generously portioned. Limited but great outdoor dining—making a margarita even more enjoyable. Such a great experience with lovely service and people. Would recommend!!!

Legit best Mexican food I’ve had in the city. Birria taco was nails and excellently portioned. Elote was so incredibly tasty even with corn out of season. I can’t wait to come back in the fall! Nachos were unique and delightfully a touch charred with a lot of flavor going on topping-wise. Maria behind the bar is FANTASTIC. Sangria was on point too. I’d highly recommend coming in here for a light bite/drink.
