We recently hired Bukhara Grill, led by Vickiji, for our wedding, and the experience was truly flawless. Vickiji spent countless hours working with us and our families to curate a menu that catered to our guests’ dietary restrictions. With most of our guests coming from India and having high expectations for Indian cuisine, Bukhara Grill not only met those expectations but exceeded them. We received numerous compliments throughout the events, with guests raving about the food.

The spread was impeccable, looking as lavish as it tasted. Vickiji was actively involved during all the events, ensuring everything ran smoothly—it's rare to see an owner invest this much time and effort into delivering high-quality service.

Both the bride and her father have food allergies, and Vickiji accommodated almost all of their needs. He even created a separate Jain station, which was a hit with everyone. We are incredibly grateful for Vickiji and his team; no amount of praise can capture how amazing they were that weekend. We often joke that we wish we could have attended our own wedding just to enjoy the food!

Beyond providing an exceptional culinary experience, Vickiji partnered with ShareMyMeal, a charity that rescues leftover food for donation. This speaks volumes about his character and commitment to doing the right thing.

This past June, my husband and I had the absolute pleasure of having Bukhara Grill cater our multicultural wedding, and we could not have been happier with the experience! From the very first conversation, Vicky Vij and the team were professional, attentive, and incredibly helpful in planning the perfect menu for our big day.
The food was nothing short of spectacular! Every dish was bursting with authentic Indian flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. Many of our guests had never tried Indian food before, and they were blown away by how much they loved it! The array of vegetarian dishes, especially the paneer makhi, vegetable biryani, and dal bukhara, were crowd favorites. The samosas, mango/strawberry lassi and freshly made naan were also a huge hit.
And the desserts – absolutely divine! The gulab jamun and khoya barfi were the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the presentation and service were top-notch. The staff, under Vicky's guidance, was friendly, punctual, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors and made sure every guest was well taken care of.
We’re so grateful to Vicky Vij and the entire Bukhara Grill team for making our wedding day unforgettable. If you're looking for exceptional Indian food and a catering team you can count on, we highly recommend them!

The food did not hit the spot. We went to Delhi accent (now knows as Bukhara grill)couple years ago and the quality of the food was amazing but this time around, both the food and services were not good. The old gentleman who was taking the order seemed overwhelmed. Also, to share, they charge $106 upfront for a party of 6 or more. I think I wouldn’t go back.

We had catering from Vicky Vij at Bukhara Grill for our wedding and reception. Right from the first tasting, Vicky was so great to work with. He took the time to walk us through the menu (which was delicious!) and gave us a wide variety of options from different cuisines! After we booked with him for our events, Vicky helped us curate the perfect menu for us and our guests. His communication was great and eased a lot of our tension as we got closer to the wedding which was much appreciated! He also met all dietary restrictions that we provided, which was a huge relief for us when trying to plan for our guests.
The food was delicious and guests were complimenting and asking about the catering for weeks after the wedding. We highly recommend Bukhara Grill for event catering, and hope to work with Vicky again in the future!

Vicky Vij and Bukhara Grill provided the catering for all 3 events at our daughter's wedding on July 5 and 6th. From the time we went for food tasting to the conclusion of the wedding reception, everything was classy. Vicky is a very friendly, personable, charismatic and very responsive person who took care of our needs. Guests at the wedding had only extremely positive feedback for all the food items in each event. Especially the reception food was outstanding. Vicky also came to our rescue when we were struggling to find a combined Tamil & Gujarati wedding lunch caterer. He said that he can do it and ensured that his cooks took our feedback and made the items to the taste we wanted. For the first ever time we had a South Indian filter coffee station at the wedding and Vicky provided us a person to man that station and deliver over 250 cups of coffee and that was a huge hit. We really liked his constant follow ups and friendly suggestions. We will strongly recommend anyone looking for wedding catering to talk to Viicky Vij and use Bukhara Grill.

We had our wedding catered by Bukhara and our extended family on both sides have had all of our events catered by Vicky, not only in NYC but all across the country and in some of the most exclusive venues and here is why:When you used Bukhara for catering you not only get high quality and delicious food but a care and attention to detail that is unparalleled. Outside of the the birth of my children, my wedding reception night was one of the best nights of my life in no small part thanks to Vicky and his talented team. We literally had to worry about nothing, they took care of all the prep and coordination with the hotel and maître d'. Bukhara also does not volunteer to do anything they cannot execute without perfect precision but Vicky's multiple decades of experience in the industry means he know who can and will work with you to make sure you have the perfect event.If you are in search of the best caterer period, let alone one that focuses on south asian cuisine, look no further.
