As authentic and hole in the wall as it gets, and as tasty as it gets. My friend took me here twice, once in 2018 and once in 2023, and I am so happy to have witnessed this establishment survive through the pandemic because it absolutely deserves it. The place barely had spaces so we had to wait until someone left, but luckily people would be in and out anyway, just like they would back in China. Once again, the vibes were screaming China in all manners not only from the store, but also from the customers.

Every dish I have had was a hit. The chicken with chili sauce had very authentic chili sauce and lots of pieces of chicken and was just amazing. I don't really have any words to describe it because it was just authentically good, if that makes sense. The noodles were great as well with a lot of flavor, and tasted just like what I would have when I was in China. Again, I don't know how else to describe how good it was. One really needs to try it to know what I mean.

With so many restaurants in New York, I may still choose to come back here because it's economical and has quality food, both of which probably factors allowing this establishment to survive through the pandemic. Highly recommend!

A coworker recommended me this place, and I finally got to try it! It did not disappoint! I absolutely loved the wonton soup!! I would have it again!!! My husband got the chicken fried rice which was good too! Not too spicy! They have a wide variety for all tastes at a good price! The jasmine drink is my favorite! šŸ’Æ recommended!

I gave this place four chances. Three out of four times the food was terrible—which made me determined that I will never go again. The food quality is honestly appalling. I felt genuinely uneasy not leaving a review and stay silent after my visits.

The tofu in Mapo tofu noodles tasted sour and perished, and the rice noodles were so soggy and cut up, now when recall it I highly suspect it was leftovers. The beef strip noodles came with a couple of donno what kind of strips in the soup. The $8 cucumber salad? Just smashed cucumber with salt —no seasoning, no flavor, no garlic.

This business seems to be purely driven by money-making, and NO regard for their eaters, otherwise they wouldn't serve such low quality food to any other human beings.

the food is too cheap, it looks like someone drink half of my soup, and my beef noodle looks like only 2 pieces of beef in there. will never ever order it again.:(
This is not a good way for doing the business.

My favorite place to grab a work lunch in the area. I always get their dry mapo tofu bowl! Their prices are on the cheaper end for lunches, they are quick, and the quality is really good. There’s not much sitting room inside but the place is never too busy (I’ve never seen a table not be open). Great for something on the go!

They have the same menu as We Noodle. Got the spicy chicken rice noodle and the broth tasted quite salty. Asked for minimum spice but they gave me a large amount and I was literally choking on it. Seems like both this store and we noodle are pretty inconsistent with the chili oil and often result in spicier broth. If you can barely take spicy won’t recommend it. There’s a discount if you pay by cash.

they do not specify which dishes have any allergy offsets. I got the dry spicy chicken noodles and it had peanuts, thank god i didn’t eat it and my friends realized because if i had i would’ve had an allergy outbreak. service itself is great the cashier is a nice lady, but wish someone would’ve said something before because a waste of money.
