Served at a small food kiosk in Harlem NY. I must say the while the biscuits were very buttery and absolutely delicious, the ingredients inside weren't memorable. Overall an affordable biscuit sandwich and for that I would go back if I were in the area.

I always pass by the Manhattanville Market and today I decided to go in and try something. I ordered the Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a cinnamon bun. I like the biscuit and the eggs but I did not like the sausage. It was too thick for my liking and a little too much Fennel. I'm not against fennel but I also don't love it. But for 10.00 a huge biscuit sandwich and fries is a steal. So kudos to the affordable pricing. The Cinnamon roll is huge and the icing was delicious but the bun and the bun itself and the cinnamon icing was not good. It had a weird after taste. So I ended up just biting the top of the bun off and eating that. The guy who took my order was friendly and quick. It is a beautiful space.

The fries were cold, meat tasted spoiled, banana pudding was just a mess. Will never eat here again.

It was an old overcooked piece of chicken served on a stale cracker. Fast food value chicken sandwiches have infinitely better quality.

Stop the music & press ‼Why am I just discovering Butterfunk Biscuit Co., in Manhattan⁉ Ok, I need to breathe ‍, and collect myself! "Food is as Food Does!" Delicious food , service and atmosphere does play a MAJOR role in how you take in and enjoy your food. I recently was in the area (131st & Bway), as I was having my vehicle checked. I had 1 1/2 hours to play it. I walked over to Butterfunk Biscuits & Oliva (opens at 4:30) to find something light to eat. OMG‼ First and foremost Mira, the manager completely took exceptional care of me with her signature hospitality, a warm & welcoming smile and a surprise (banana pudding style dessert that I later enjoyed at home). Izzy who welcomed me with open arms too, served me my favorite Earl Grey Tea with Cream and honey perfectly. I also purchased to eat at home, their signature, INSANE glazed, infused with a sweet-salty caramelized soaked in a Buttery base Cinnamon Bun Biscuit". I almost fainted, because it was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS, i learned the next morning ‼ Something this Good, can be apart of Life? Absolutely YES. Alex, who made me the Cinnamon Bun Biscuit AND another mouth watering deliciousness...The banana pudding style dessert ! WTF (Wait, The Food!?) Listen closely, take the #1 train Uptown on Broadway to 125th. Get Off, it's across the street. it's also less that 1,000 feet from the the Westside Highway at 125th Exit. I truly enjoyed the tableau salad with a Pita for breakfast. You can definitely thank me later.

I ordered the berry berry good biscuit shortcake and I’m still having nightmares about it. It was nothing but a bunch of sweetened hard stale croutons mixed in with some fruit. I don’t know maybe dessert isn’t their thing but their sandwiches do look good

Could I rate this lower than a 1 star and still leave a review? We came here because it's owned by Top Chef alum Chris Scott but were very disappointed. What's worse is that he was the only other person in the dining area while we were there and allowed this disaster to happen.Saturday morning in Harlem and the place is empty. Red flag. Counter service in a co-op kitchen making food for 3 other restaurants. Red flag. The chicken biscuit was overcooked and dry, the biscuit was cold and the chicken was luke warm. Honestly the best part was the sweet pickle. The biscuit and sausage gravy was almost inedible. Clearly the gravy was from a bag and they rehydrated it with milk - we watched them do it. The biscuit was again cold and had no rise to it. It also tasted like baking soda. The cinnamon roll was cold and tasted like chemicals. And was as dry as the Sahara. Not worth the trip to Harlem for this low quality slop. Nothing was made fresh, all reheated, and even that was done poorly. It's actually embarrassing to other Top Chef contestants that this is a representation of their work.

I actually like this biscuit breakfast sandwich. A few things cost deductions. First there was a slight too much fennel in the homemade sausage. Also why is everyone making biscuits all over cheddar. Softer cheeses works better, good old American, a gouda even. They melt better and don't tend to coagulate when they cool down (see pic). I did have to wait-a-bit for my sandwich to be made, but they had just opened and maybe were not fully prepped yet.

I loved the crispy fried chicken biscuit. The chicken was well cooked, flavor was great and the biscuits are delicious.

The flavor is all here but looks can be deceiving I have ordered a number of sandwiches from this establishment but they do NOT look as hardy as the images in the website. However, the flavor is still there. I recognize our fast food establishments use fake photos to lure us but when your on a smaller scale to fast food,, the deception is biting. I am a fan of the donut holes which I believe Are biscuit balls submerged in oil. So they are rather dry, by nature because it's thicker. To offset the thickness they provide a dipping sauce but on six occasions I have ordered them, they continue to fill the sauce half way. For some, you can eat the balls plain but you will need water or milk. The sauce is awesome but they are not generous. They aren't generous with the condiment, ingredients or serving. But the flavor is there. .

Friendly service but they served us in takeout containers when we were clearly dining in (they could have asked). The biscuits suffer from a metallic baking powder aftertaste, are not as moist or seasoned as they should be, and are arbitrarily square when round biscuits always bake better. The underseasoning became a blessing in disguise as we tasted the onion-heavy, over-salted turkey gravy. With a bit less salt and a bit less liquid it would make a lovely knish filling, but among the many cultural aspirations of the venue, Jewish food is not. The cinnamon roll was dry, hard, and over-caramelized on the outside. The inside offered a bold cinnamon presence, though it was clearly cassia from its spice-laden abrasive notes and lack of delicate floral aroma. The outside of the roll was very sweet and the inside not really at all, prompting fork acrobatics to achieve a vaguely satisfactory bite. The coffee was unremarkable and the prices are a bit high. The ambience is open, bright, and generally charming, but neither it nor the smiling faces can redeem this culinary debacle.

I don't know if I ordered on an off day or their oven was on the fritz but these biscuits were pretty bad. They were dry and overcooked on the outside and gooey on the inside. They were obviously cooked at too high a temperature.
