What a cute little neighborhood bakery! We were craving cookies, and this place didn’t fail to deliver. We walked in and ordered a chocolate chunk cookie, and an oatmeal cranberry cookie. They were delicious!! Chewy on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside. The oatmeal and cranberry cookie was gluten free, and you would never even know it. Service was quick and efficient. Can’t wait to come back to try some of their cakes and cupcakes which look decadent, as well as their banana pudding.

This is a small bakery for takeout (no seats inside). The baker/counterperson bakes the goodies in the back, you can smell the wonderful aromas as you enter the store. For such a small, personal shop, they offer a surprisingly decent percentage of vegan cupcakes and cookies. I had a cookies-and-cream cupcake; it was wonderful.
The all-vegan bakeries in NYC (Confectionary, Gigi's Doughnuts, Erin McKenna, Rawsome Treats) are better, to be sure, but this bakery is by far the best in the Upper East Side.

This bakery was so amazing and accommodating for my last minute frenzy to get something ready for the wedding. (Literally a week before) Everyone was so kind, the cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. Let me not forget to leave out delicious... The icing and texture is perfect, and when we did the cake ceremony, it cut perfectly.
Highly recommend this place if you have a special event coming up for high ratings across the board. Thank you Butterly Bakery, you'll forever have a place in my heart!

I tried the pumpkin whoopie pie and it was so delicious! The cookie part was moist and the cream cheese frosting was to die for!! It was just the right amount of sweet. The staff was friendly and provided quick service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Love this little shop. Their vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting are SO good. Their banana pudding is also out of this world—better than Magnolia IMO!
Called at noon on a Saturday to get myself a birthday cake and they had a semi customized cake ready for me within 3 hours!! All their baked goods are so delicious. Can’t go wrong!

This bakery gives a homely feeling from the moment you walk in. On site there are 5 vegan options: banana chocolate cupcake, strawberry cupcake, cookies and crème cupcakes, gingersnap cookie, chocolate chip cookie and custom vegan cakes for preorder. I had the banana chocolate cupcake and a taste of the gingersnap cookie both of which were delicious. This place could definitely benefit from baking more vegan options, I would particularly love a vegan brownie or blondie.

We were picking up a Brooklyn Blackout cake and we walked in and the smell of the cakes was amazing, everything in the case looked delicious and from there we walked out with a Nutella cookie, apple pie cheese cake, carrot loaf and a pumpkin Whoopie Pie. The Brooklyn Blackout cake was amazing and everyone loved it, was moist, rich chocolate flavor if you are a chocolate lover you will be in heaven with this cake. The pumpkin Whoopie pie was so good the pumpkin flavor was just right, the carrot loaf was so good fresh, saw the shredded carrots and the cream cheese frosting was delicious. The apple pie cheese cake was so creamy, the Nutella cookie was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Erica was decorating a beautiful princess cake, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend and I will be back.
