Busy establishment. Delicious food but a long wait for jt. Cachapas are great, but h suggest calling your order in at least 10 minutes ahead.

They have the 2 meat cachapa or the three meat cachapa. Amazing. Have it with the sauce.

Unfortunately, the food served in Cachapas Y Mas seems like a poor advertisement for the country's cuisine. The Arepas Pabellon ( shredded beef) was good but lacked black beans and cheese means it was not pabello, it was arepa with meat and plantain only! The sweet plantain was good.
The empanadas de carne mecha were over-fried, making a hard texture.
The tequeños were a complete disappointment; the te queños were undercooked, and the cheese was just a block of cheese inside. It didn't even melt when you opened it in half!
The flan was so bland that it was not it!

The food was heavy, greasy, and not worth it. The fryers were probably not hot enough, but even if they had been, there was barely any flavor and made us feel gross after eating. We had the one vegetarian option with the plantain, avocado, barely any black beans and cheese that felt like chewing greasy rubber.

Dont skip the yo-yo!!! Wow, delicious
This place is amazing! They don’t really speak english but both the cachapa and arepa are gluten free and okay for celiac. I had no reaction here thankfully bc it’s so good. Best lemonade ever

Everything time I drive by the Bronx I stop at cachapas. I have been going there for years but last time I was trying to by to go and the girl in the front wasn't to friendly. I ask for 15 tequeyoyo I think it's called and some empanadas and she had a snotty attitude.
