Didn't expect it but, Cafe 71 is really rather darn cool. The location is unbeatable. I like every thing I have ordered at this place. Service was terrific and everybody working here was very nice and generous. You will not be disappointed!

This is one of my go-to order-in places. Food is reliably good, delivery is fast and usually accurate. If you call with a complaint, chances are excellent the owner will scream at you, though. But when you go in, they're all very nice. The baked goods are beyond beyond.

Do me wrong and I don't care but treat my father wrong and I will fight you. We've been going here for years before or after shows in the nearby area ... never been overly impressed but hey, convenient location. The other day, we go in and he wants to use the bathroom before we order. The manager literally gets in the way and starts lecturing him. I'm so upset that I have to wait outside; he ultimately refused to let my dad use the restroom before ordering. We will never be back and I wish this place nothing but the absolute worst. Shame on you.

I had ordered from cafe 71 many times over the years with reasonable results but today they delivered the wrong food an hour and half after I ordered it, 45 minute later than the original estimate, and didn't send me the correct food in the end. When I called to ask for a refund, rather than showing me customer service after I spent hundreds of dollars with them over the years, they refused to credit me for the full order and started nitpicking about how much they would credit me for the incorrect food and my inconvenience. I told them I would never order from them again if they didn't credit me for the full order but they refused. So I will stick to what I told them. I will never order from them again.

Great place to grab a bite in this busy city, even better to order from them cause they’re super quick! Pizza sauce could use some love, but the staff is super attentive to their customers and are friendly. I’m a regular customer ?

I grew up on the Upper West Side so have been going to this place for years. I came at midnight after Starbucks closed to get garlic knots as a snack and finish up some work. 35 minutes in I was doing some work on my iPad and the rude owner told me there was a 15 minute limit and I couldn't stay there. When I asked why the several guys that were there before I got there were allowed to stay, he told me it was none of my business. Never will be entering this place again.

We walked in at 10:25pm on Christmas Day, because this was one of the few places open, and we were looking for hero rolls to make sandwiches at home. They had run out of bread, so a bald guy in a red shirt with a very expensive gold Rolex decided to sell us two of the display bread rolls, without mentioning how they would be extremely stale. I feel he either could have told us how old they were, or else just given them to us free of charge. Seems like they are more concerned with making money than with good service. Nice job, douchebag!

One of my favorite places to eat for sure. Anything and everything I've ordered from them tastes great, the staff are very nice and the prices are fair. They have an incredible variety of food and are very understanding if there's a mix up. I used to go here every Friday and still go every other month as a treat. The seats by the window are great and they have a very clean bathroom. Love their service!
Horrible scam and horrible service. My friend and I ordered online, he accidentally pressed confirm before we could put the whole order in. We called right away to cancel and they said they cancelled it. We later put in the correct order and got that one no problem. A week later I realize the refund for the cancelled order was never issued so I called seamless. They called the restaurant for me and said I would have to call back myself later that night because the manager wasn't there. I called them later and explained the situation only to be rudely yelled at by the guy saying he has no idea what I'm talking about and he basically accused me of trying to scam them. Like...I obviously didn't expect him to know! That's why I told him what happened! He condescendingly said maybe his manager can explain to me. I apologized to the manager, maybe the first guy took it the wrong way, then I explained again. He rudely yelled at me too that he also has no idea what I'm talking about and he has no control over past orders. That is a flat out lie. I 've worked in a restaurant that uses seamless and have never had trouble cancelling it the same day from my end, so the order never should have been accepted and charged in the first place. Even if it was overlooked accidentally, it's complete bull to say there's nothing they can do. And even on the impossibly slight chance if that they can't control their own past orders, there was no need to be so grotesquely rude when I wasn't calling to pick a fight in the first place. Be careful ordering from here and don't expect any decency when it comes to service.

I only live 8 blocks away from them and when I ordered it took over an hour plus to get my food. When I called they kept telling me the food was 10 mins away (after 30 mins, I called 2 more times after because it had been another 30). The food is mediocre and the customer service is awful. I would not recommend.

horrible experience with ordering pasta this noon. it is cooked in Microwave with plastic container, and the volume is too small, only 5 small piece of chicken for $10.
