I recently dined at Cafe Commerce and had an exceptional experience that I just had to share! We started our meal with the Hamachi, which was nothing short of excellent—perfectly fresh and beautifully presented.
For the main course, we indulged in the Rigatoni Carbonara and the Chicken Schnitzel. The carbonara was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of seasoning, while the schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender inside, making it a delightful comfort food choice.
To top off our meal, we ordered the birthday cake for dessert. It was a sweet celebration that was simply delicious—moist, flavorful, and the perfect ending to our dining experience.
What truly stood out was the staff; they were beyond nice, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Everything about Cafe Commerce was over the top in the best way possible.
This spot has quickly become one of my new favorite restaurants in New York City, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Listen the customer service received by Gary was phenomenal. There were others who helped but he stood out the most. His professionalism is top notched. Can I say he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made my choices better, just his way of expression made me order outside the norm and as truthful as it was he never swayed me to buy but simple his honesty spoke volumes for me. This is my second visit and my second encounter, he even remembered me and I think that was awesome with hundreds of people daily yet he recognizes me. I took note of his diligence, mannerism and astute work ethics. Gary i encourage you to keep doing a fantastic job, to Commerce, you have a keeper. Hurray for Gary! You honestly made my experience wonderful to dine here. Good job to all the members involved
Out of the many bistros and bistro-esque places on the UES, Cafe Commerce is far and away the best. I’ve yet to have even an average experience after several visits. Standout dishes are everything from the chicken for two to the eggplant Milanese (a sleeper dish recommended by Natalia at the bar, who has been amazing on two different visits). The menu is flexible enough to handle everything from a multicourse feast, to a light lunch. I’ve also just tried their new brunch, and it was fantastic.

We loved Commerce when it was in the West Village and sorely missed it when it closed. We finally tried Cafe Commerce uptown and it did not disappoint! Our favorites are still on the menu and as delicious as we remembered: hamachi crudo, deviled eggs and coconut cake. The rabbit pappardelle was bright and savory; a great pasta. Diego our server recommended a lovely French Burgundy. Can’t wait to come back!

So far, this was the best restaurant we've been to. The food was consistently good, each dish. They gave us a cinnamon roll that was perfection at the beginning of the meal. The service was great all servers very attentive. Drew, was truly professional and very enjoyable to have take care of us.
