This is my favorite Chinese food place - reminiscent of the days of traditional chinese food growing up while raising the game to contemporary food. Their healthy versions are really good too! I also hosted small parties in the back area and they turned our perfect. The owners are very gracious

I love this place. A friend who grew up in HK took me here years ago and whenever I'm in the area, I make sure to stop by. The food is fresh and delicious. The space is comfortable, clean, the atmosphere is mellow, and I enjoy sitting by the huge windows watching people walk by. Clearly it's a neighborhood place, since the owners warmly greet many customers by name. Favorite dishes are the dry sauteed green beans, any chef special dishes, Peking chicken. My family always requests to bring home the chicken (or beef) with broccoli and dim sum items.

Six of us enjoyed the atmosphere together. They brought our food right away. The workers repeatedly demonstrated exceptional effort. I make regular appearances at this restaurant. I enjoyed this restaurant thoroughly.

All around great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. We had a person with celiac in the party and everyone was well versed on which items had rice flour and were safe to eat. The service was prompt and friendly. Parking stinks but that's not news.

Excellent old school Cantonese place in the Upper east side. The dim sum is excellent and the service is very sincere. The lunch specials are a great value. If you are in the area and want great Chinese food, this is an authentic experience.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. The service is incredible. Super fresh. My whole family loves it. They are so kind and take extreme caution with allergies. Many things can be made gluten free, outside of their GF menu.

We dine at Cafe Evergreen regularly with my elderly father. Sam waits on us, knows our orders and is a welcoming presence. He anticipates our needs and makes it a joy to return!

We ordered calamari which has no dipping sauce included, pan fried veg dumplings which is so greasy, egg roll also greasy after 10mins of our appetizer came,a group of people around 40 just arrived all together and as soon as the people seated, the waiter served all their appetizers and it was all same as what we have ordered

We were wondering why when we gave our order the food came in less than 5minutes,but the moment when we saw same appetizers that was been served on the big group then we knew why it was quick

Too probably the food was been sitting for few minutes then we ordered same item they might have reheated those food that ended up serving oily and greasy

So we just finished our food and asked for the bill and left.

Will might gave them a chance to visit it again but will make sure that there will be no huge group
