Very nice place with a good crowd. Ambiance is great. From the moment we were seated until we paid our check I felt very rushed. 7:30 reservation out at 8:40. Crab cake looked processed, but tasted Ok. For sure not near the top 50 I've ever had. The food came out so fast it seems impossible that it wasn't already made in advance. The Dover Sole was disappointing and over cooked. The Lemon Piccata was very good and the chicken was very tender. It's just strange that a busy place like that could cook all that food and get it out that fast without pre-preparation. Not sure I'm going back.
What a beautiful experience Thesesrvice was impeccable and the atmosphere was friendlyand civilized. We spent two and half hours socializing over the finest brunch wehave hadin a long while.
Always enjoyable! Great comfort Italian food. Brought out of town guest who enjoyed it as well
We've dined at Fiorellas for over 20 years. Upon arrival for our 6:30 reservation we were brought to an inside table for 4. We asked if we could move to one of two open booths as we were really cramped for space. We were told that those two booths were already reserved. We then moved to a 4 top center room, not ideal but better than the wall table. One of the “reserved” booths was still empty by the time we left 2 hours later. Doesn't leave the 4 of us with a good feeling. Not sure we'll be back again anytime soon.
Always get good service and the food is generally excellent. The service staff is friendly and do not rush you. It's a great place, especially AFTER the crowds have gone on to performances at Lincoln Center, or after a performance.
Everyone was accomodating. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately, Sunday at 5:00. Menu choice was good, service was very good as well😀
Our primary waiter was a bit rude and surly, although he became less irritable over time. The salmon was very mediocre. The salad was tasty.
A wonderful meal and very appreciative of the support from the staff to accommodate and assist one of us in an electric scooter.
There was something off in the veal parm I ordered Told the waiter and he offered to replace it—but we decided to split the eggplant parm my wife ordered instead since it was such a large portion The eggplant parm was excellent as was the pasta side and the garlic bread The Tartufo dessert was also excellent
I have enjoyed Fiorello since long before covid. I ordered the 'petite dover sole' last weekend, and again yesterday, while it was well prepared, the serving size yesterday was half the size of the week before. I think I will pass on ordering it again. The rest of our dinner was as usual very good.

I've been dining at Café Fiorello for decades. I love the beautiful atmosphere, the attentive service, the food — and I've always been mad about their antipasto bar. Last night I decided to make my full dinner out of it; five different selections, each of them absolutely delicious!
Love this place! I eat here every time I'm in NYC. You can just tell by the people around you that they've been going there for decades and it has so much history. The food is 10/10 especially the pick 3 or 5 Antipasto bar. I love to do the pick 5 and a loaf of the garlic spread bread for a lighter option of dinner. Also the Fiorello Spritz 10/10
I've probably been coming to Café Fiorello for about 40 years and have never been disappointed. From the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, to the consistent quality of the food, it's always a pleasure.
The food was really good, but had some stomach issues after.
