Not a good sandwich- they put turkey into a reuben and charged 13 bucks for something that looks like it came from a school

I am an employee at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital across the street which provides this café with so much business every single day and not just from myself. They offer the employees a small discount however the cashier/manager refused to apply the discounts to two orders for two other employees and then I was told they are not legally even supposed to give us a discount without tax exempt papers, got 50 cents tossed at me to shut me up, and told that I am a problem every time I come in (which the only other time I said something was because he charged me $4 + tax for toast with butter and that's just ridiculous for bread) for calling them out on the unfairness of the matter when we provide so much business to them. I did not create the discount and expect it to be applied to all employees. The manager is unprofessional, unfair, and this place is overpriced to the max as it is, for no reason. I will happily take my business elsewhere as they do not know how to appreciate and value their clientele. I have spoken to multiple employees and they also agree it was rude and unfair to the employees for him to conduct himself this way. Thank you for the few breakfast meals but I will not be back just as the manager requested that I do not.

Worse sandwich I've had. Their quality ingredients are basically garbage now. Bread is basic and chewy chicken that slaps you in the face isn't worth the 16.00. No seasoning, tastless and bland. Cutlet looks like its been sitting around for days and extra tough and chewy. Go elsewhere.. not at all like yhey used to be. Good service, too much cost cutting on top of raised prices.. just go to Bagelworks or Taco Bell.

Way too many dirty panhandlers begging money from you while you are eating. They refuse to kick them out and they are always in there.

Their AÇAÍ bowls are the worst. They freeze it so you can’t even enjoy it and by the time it melts it’s an hour later and açaí is watery and your fruits soggy. Awful !

I go for their muffins and when I want a cheap breakfast/am in a rush. Conveniently located right by NewYork-Presbyterian.

a nice place to grab a morning bite or lunch as its a variety of choices type of place with bagels, smoothies , acai bowls, traditional breakfast offering , sandwiches, wraps , etc. was on the upper east side early and notice cafe fresco on my journey and decided to eat in ordering a large fruit smoothie and kettle baked bagel with veggie cream cheese. good amount of seating in a bright clean spacious place and my 40 minute breakfast went fast.overall cafe fresco is a good place to grab a bite and the menu has plenty to pick from .

$9 for “fresh” orange juice - tastes like and is likely concentrate. Total scammers and they even said it’s fresh from morning but no sight of oj machine

Nice deli that uses fresh ingredients. Their bagel sandwiches are very good. Didn’t love my Buffalo chicken wrap.

Overly expensive, place was empty and I still had to wait extra long because the cooks forgot my order (egg wrap). Then they ask for a tip at the counter.? Save your money and check out the numerous street carts in the area - most of them take cards.

First time here at Cafe Fresco's new location on 1st Ave and 49th street; ordered the nova with scallion cream cheese(came with capers, red onion on a everything toasted bagel) very tasty and satisfying; was totally happy with the quality service provided by Micheal the catering manager and wonderful staff there; their bagels are made in house on a nightly basis so totally fresh for those am cravings; Michael was so polite and gracious and even insisted I have a complimentary iced coffee the way I like; the ambiance is casual; ample seating for a quick bite and food is good considering the limited options in the neighborhood; would absolutely recommend and def coming back! Super happy and it made my day! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

Great service, sparkling clean, great prices for fresh food & beverages. Kitty corner from One UN plaza so perfect for breakfast or lunch before meetings.
