Cafe Grumpy - Financial District

The espresso was decent and the space here was nice inside. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pastry was stale and hard, I didn’t even finish it (and I was pretty hungry). The coffee here is okay but I can’t really recommend the pastries here.

Same place that won't immediately fire hateful racist baristas. I don't want to ever come to this awful place again that lets employees continue working there after giving no service to someone as soon as they walk in the door and call them "disgusting"

Café Grumpy has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile and treated like a regular, even when I'm not. There's a calm, unpretentious vibe here that makes it easy to relax, read, or catch up with a friend.

The coffee is consistently top-notch. Whether you're a fan of classic espresso drinks, pour-overs, or want to try something new, they have an impressive variety that caters to all tastes. Their beans are clearly high quality, and the baristas really know what they’re doing.

If you're looking for a spot that combines great coffee with warm, friendly service, Café Grumpy is it. Highly recommended!

Terrible!!!! They refused to serve my brother who is a victim of 9/11 just because they had a TRUMP hat on. It was 7:30 on 9/11, and he wanted coffee, but the girl told him there was no service. Disgusting.

Coffee is good but no wifi. Got the vanilla latte and quite tasty. Google led us astray here when we needed to work at a coffee shop. Not a good place to work if you need WiFi.

Small but cute coffee shop. Good service. Nice place to do work or charge your devices.

The boy who attended us was nice, but we asked him if we could drag a table to sit, he asked the girl and the girl was so rude.

Great stop for a coffee. Enjoyed the cortado and they don’t charge extra for milk alternatives (such as oat, almond, soy) which is amazing! Indoor tables available to sit in. The service was very fast even with a line. Some pastries available - the almond croissant and scone looked good!

Great coffee and friendly staff. The perfect spot to grab a quick cup. Love getting my honey oat latte here.
