If I could give this coffee place 0 stars I would. My friends and I have had awful service at this location awhile back and it hasn’t changed. Definitely never coming back here. I came here awhile ago and one of the workers was slamming things on the counter and we left because we felt so unsafe.
The worst matcha I ever had.

solid. cant go wrong with cafe grumpy
The coffee was exceptionally good. Quite possibly the best americano I’ve ever had.
Unfortunately service was a bit curt and the shop seemed out of a lot of stuff. Pastry case was empty, for example.
Would have liked something to go with my coffee, so I’m deducting a star, but really, the coffee is great.

I’ll tell you Cafe Grumpy, the man is up to no good in New Delhi. Coffee is yuck at New Delhi’s Vasant Vihar. He’s too comfortable out here. Lasagne is good, and the Caesar salad. I’m telling you right now New York Cafe Grumpy, I don’t think coffee will be all that great at this location. It’s entirely colored by New Delhi’s Grumpy.
I'm a fan of the cafe, great matcha lattes, service can be hit or miss but coffee is good.

Really good coffee.
Small (right size) servings because they don't wanna compensate for bad quality

I had the perfect vanilla latte from Cafe Grumpy. There was no wait on a late Sunday morning and the ambiance of the shop was casual and cozy. Definitely recommend!

Depending on the barista this place could be a hit or miss. I did enjoy my iced latte the last time I went though.

Really disappointed in this cafe. I ordered an iced matcha latte made with almond milk and it was awful. It had no flavor or sweetened at all - it just tasted like almond milk. When I asked about sweetener, I was told that they don't sweeten it at all, and the only thing they could sweeten it with was honey (not vegan), and my other option was for me to add simple syrup myself from the back counter. For over eight dollars for an iced matcha, you'd think it'd already be sweetened to a certain degree and not be required to sweeten it yourself.

A solid coffee place with good pastries (and matcha). The ambiance is minimalistic but cute, especially a little nook in the back. Perfect for a private conversation or a group catchup (over 3 ppl)
