There’s something undeniably cinematic about Cafe Manhattan. It doesn’t scream for attention it just welcomes you in, like it’s always been part of your routine. The space is warm, a little nostalgic, and full of small details you only notice on your second or third visit.
The food is casual but comforting, with a coffee that’s bold and familiar. Think endless refills, a cozy seat by the window, and time that doesn’t feel like it’s running out.
This isn’t a place designed for photos it’s designed for people. For those late mornings that stretch into slow afternoons, for conversations that don’t need to be rushed, and for those everyday moments that somehow feel special.

Lazy workers. Sandwiches are pre-made and not fresh to order.
Way overpriced for low quality

Got a lunch roll set and added the miso soup for $2.95 with the promo. The sushi was fresh, the soup was warm and comforting. Great lunch combo for the price.

To expensive restaurants prices for a deli
I stayed at a hotel in Times Square, and this place was just a 5-6 minute walk away—what a gem! The variety of food here is absolutely incredible, offering something for everyone. It’s one of those classic New York weigh-and-pay buffets, but the selection is beyond anything I’ve seen.
They’ve got sushi, burgers, breakfast classics, and even breakfast options from other cuisines. There’s a huge range of hot dishes, fresh fruits, and so much more. Honestly, I wish this place was right below my apartment—I could eat here every day and never get bored! The variety is so extensive that it surpasses any other restaurant I’ve been to in the U.S.
The staff are super hardworking and efficient, keeping everything moving quickly. The place is spotlessly clean, with plenty of seating, including a separate dining area upstairs. You can easily have all your meals here—breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus grab-and-go snacks for convenience. It’s perfect for anyone staying in Times Square, and it’s so much cheaper than sit-down restaurants or ordering à la carte. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a total game-changer for dining in the area!

Very practical place, varied cuisine, financially affordable which is rare in NYC. Close to our hotel, glad to have found something for lunch without breaking the bank.
Don't expect fine dining but good enough to gain energy for the day

The food and service were average and overpriced. I had a BLT, and it didn't have a lettuce leaf but shredded MacDonald's lettuce. My wife's omelette was nothing to write home about.

Staff was cold and distance. Second place within one block. No assistance offered. Do they want the business. Apparently not. I left. One month later. NO CHANGE IN ATTITUDE OR SERVICE.

Food was a bland as the clerk’s attitude, The “Chef” talks like he was back at his home country at his mommas house.
They literally don’t care about the cx.
Btw, The pork ribs smelled rancid and tasted like a whole bunch of nothing, Prices are extremely high.
Wouldn’t recommend eating or stopping by this nasty business with its nasty staff…
Btw, Seems like they try to be so frugal that they cant even clean the restroom properly.
Nad the clerk think speaking crazy of customers in spanish is a cook thing, Little does she know I and many other speak many languages. XD

WARNING - many items 2-3x more expensive than anything nearby, even in midtown.
Example:
12 oz can of poppi soda $6.59 🧐 vs $2 at Whole Foods nearby and $3 at most delis.
