Very hyped restaurant and yes there are “cool people” but the food is okay at best and service is slow. But hey you’re there for the vibes

We booked the back room for a company dinner for about ~7 people and it was FANTASTIC. They were so easy to work with booking the space, the food was delicious, the service was great. It's an excellent, intimate space for small groups. Would highly, highly recommend!

This place is so warm and cozy! Loved the atmosphere. The cocktails were amazing! I normally hate tomato soup but I got theirs and it was delicious. The staff was pleasant as well. I highly recommend this spot.

Decor makes you feel as if you've stepped out of New York and stumbled into a Parisian restaurant. Wine was excellent and my boyfriend and I had a delicious fondue. Cocktails were on the weaker side but staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall a great time and would go back again!

I went there yesterday to celebrate my birthday. What a nice surprise !Super vibe, cool place , beautiful people, nice decoration and not that expensive .If you want to chill , drink a beer and do some “tapas” - this would be the perfect spot . Go for it

Nice little cafe in Soho. Had a business meeting here at around 3:30 on a weekday. It was not crowded but tables are tightly packed. We had coffee/tea and bar snacks. The warm olives with fennel were really good! Service was a bit inattentive but fine. Had to track down our waitress at the end to pay. A few seats on the sidewalk outside. Served its purpose - 4.5 stars rounded to 5.

Swiss fondue was unauthentic with raw potato grapes and apple to eat it. I put the potato on the skewer and in the cheese for 5 minutes. Warm but Still raw! If this sounds weird imagine ordering a burger and having it served on 2 slices of carrot and when you asked for a bun getting 2 pieces of frozen dough. This is not a Swiss fondue.

Love this place. Ice cold martinis and lobster salads, friendly staff, fun clientele. Not fine dining but isn't in any way trying to be. Just a reliably good cafe. We made this our go to spot on a long weekend in NYC recently. Go check it out.

I really want to give 3.5 stars. I like Select for what it is which is an easy Swiss-ish cafe. The hanger steak is my favorite item. The burger is not bad, even if a bit small. The zucchini chips are fun. Cocktails are hit and miss. The chocolate vodka martini is good. The corpse reviver #2 is meh. Second trip.

Everything from the service to the food was great. Great spot for after work or date night. Highly recommend the bone marrow and escargot! Will definitely be going back soon.

This is the exact spot you want to pop into after shopping in soho/nolita. Around 4/5 pm on a weekday, it was relatively quiet but provided excellent people-watching. We got cocktails (espresso martini, sangria) and a cheese plate, which provided quite a hefty serving and selection. The prices are pretty much what you'd expect from the neighborhood, the decor is quaint, and the staff is friendly. I don't know if I would go out of my way for this spot, but it'll definitely be a go-to when I'm in the area :)

Were passing by the bustling outdoor seating area at the front of the restaurant, so we took a seat to observe the passerby's and enjoy the last warm evening of the season. Indoor seating was very dark and cramped. Chill vibe, modern pop hits played in the background. Outdoor seating was also super tight--we literally participated in conversations of couples sitting right next to us. NYC and space constraints--gota make the most out of limited sidewalk area right by the restaurant. This is not a place for good food. Everything is mediocre and overpriced. This is a good spot for drinks--$16 gusano [mezscal, honey, spiced salt] hit the spot and was a perfect blend of flavors that would revive any drained pilgrim. The best thing we ate were $22 half a dozen oysters, which were fresh. $18 escargot was the worst--utterly bland and tasteless. A child can make better escargot with eyes closed--just pour the snails from a can into a dish, cover with oil, add salt. Salting this helped to salvage this sad excuse of a dish. $16 catalan shrimp was okay. Buttery, fatty white wine sauce had decent flavor. Most of the dish consisted of potatas bravas and toasted sourdough [only 5 shrimp in the portion]. $17 fluke & tiger shrimp ceviche was nothing to write about. Your typical, forgettable ceviche, that had more filler than seafood. Service was standard. You can find better spots with tastier food, more space, and cooler ambiance. Not a place I'd return to.

Bad service to start with. The online menu doesn't open, so you're instructed to hit unsafe webpages. The limited menu doesn't have an option like, let's say, grilled salmon. When inquired if there were any specials, the not friendly waiter seemed puzzled about the question. "What kind of special are you looking for?" So, this place is a no and i have to get out of there. I asked for the check, since I drank a glass of an almost flat (in house made) sparkling water bottle, I was presented with a bill of $8 bucks. Amazing :)
