American food, no special value, very nice atmosphere and excellent service

The food was very very bland. The grilled salmon and the salmon burger were both below average. Severely lacking in salt and seasoning.

Despite French theme, food is like from a below-average American diner. Not French at all.

The place was elegant and quiet, but those are its only redeeming qualities. The food was not very good and neither was the service

Visited a few days ago for lunch, we had high expectations but unfortunately that wasn’t the case at all. I ordered the salmon burger and it was probably the most flavorless food I’ve ever tried at a restaurant, not exaggerating. Only reason I gave 3 stars was because our server Alex was nice.

It's the location and the ambience for me. I had the spaghetti bolagnese. Just ok. I will go again.

I had better hopes for our visit based on all the 5 star reviews here. Maybe because we arrived at 10:15 and were informed that we needed to order quickly if we wanted breakfast but once we ordered, our server disappeared for 30 minutes until he brought the bill. I didn’t receive a part of my meal but we weren’t able to address it because he never came to check on us.
If you’re looking for an elegant atmosphere and don’t care about service, then I’d recommend it. Just lower your expectations on what good service is.

Decent main dishes. I ordered the Chicken Club sandwich with a side of fries that looked and tasted like they came from McDonalds.
Maybe one of the most boring, bland, overpriced meals I've ever had.
And both my partner and I had stomach problems less than half an hour after our meal.
TOURIST TRAP. Steer clear.
I tried purchasing a gift card here. Impossible. I phoned one afternoon and was told to phone back between 7am - 2pm because you can't but a gift card on their website and have to speak directly to someone. I called on a Saturday before 2pm and was then told to call back on Monday because the General Manager is not in on the weekends. It should not be that hard to buy a gift card. I moved on to a different restaurant.

Very disappointing! Had not been there for years and food was mediocre, at best, with generally unfriendly service . Will not return.

Chicken Cord On Blue is amazing. The restaurant looks and feels like Paris.
If there is a below one star i would put it, the food was tasteless the coffee was cold, on top of that the waiter kept coming every five minutes asking if we’re done ! I got the impression that i’m not welcomed !
I definitely won’t come again !

In our recent visit to New York, we had breakfast at this restaurant (based on the very good reviews)
The food was extremely bad although you would think you can’t go wrong with a basic egg breakfast ! I ordered a steak and egg, and the steak was stale and the meat smelled bad.
The server wasn’t nice and had a questionable attitude which didn’t help with the experience and we didn’t want to make the experience any worse than it was by complaining about the food that we couldn’t really eat and the service that was bad..
The food was overpriced for what it was and I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody!
